I hope we get off on a technicality, just to boil some piss. People have waffled on about the damage a loss or getting off on a technicality will do to our reputation. That is a load of nonsense. Juventus got relegated due to match fixing, that does not seem to have damaged their reputation too much. We all know what Liverpool fans did at Hysel, yet they are still the media darlings. The narrative is set by the media. In 10 years time, if we continue being successful, it will be our ex players who will be dominant in the media and the narrative will change. There will be no lasting damage to our reputation at all imo.
Even if we lose on Monday, so what? I have read so much nonsense in this thread, with posters even suggesting our owners will be off. In my opinion, it will make them more determined to succeed.
No matter what happens, the club will still exist on Tuesday morning and we will still be in a far better position than we were 15 years ago. They might be able to stop us playing in Europe but they can never take our memories off us.
