Wales 7 day rolling cases total is today 6129 v 6233 a week ago.

Scotland as above 7067 today v 7851 a week ago.

I was speaking to my city fan nextdoor neighbour this morning about last nights match . He said he went around to his mates along with 5 others to watch it ! . So which is safer ,going to your mates V going to a pub where you have to sanitize, track & trace , wear a mask and get table service ? .. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard people doing this , ex workmate has a man cave ( bar ) in his garden , where he charges £2 a pint !!!. If the R value continues to stay below 1 I hope we open up in Tier 2

The reason we are being constrained is because of the awful manner that the government have dealt with this. Why should the vast majority have to live under these draconian rules when this virus poses very little risk to them? Those at risk - protect them and as tough as it may be isolate them until a vaccine is available. Ruining the country to protect a very small minority is idiotic when they could be protected in other ways that wouldn’t have involved mass job losses, companies going bust and a huge national debt that the next generation are going to have to suffer for.
It's called abiding by the laws of the land. Whether we agree with them or not is irrelevant, if we have pockets who think it is OK to become unlawful as they don't see the need for such laws, puts us in shit street

N Ireland 3 wks v 2 wks v last wk v today

Deaths 8 v 7 v 9 v 10 today

Cases 685 v 420 v 472 v 342 today - which is still going well after their circuit breaker. And they have locked down further.

Patients 379 v 396 v 489 v 447 (Friday)

Ventilators 42 v 38 v 39 v 28 (Friday) - big fall here which even with the deaths impacting that looks hopeful.

Which other laws of the land can vary from one street to the next? Postcode laws what a load of bollocks.

As I say, you, I or anyone else might not like them, but the majority will adhere.

Let's see what Boris has installed for us all and if you disagree, you have a choice, but it looks like you and one or two others have already decided what you are going to do.

Whether we agree with them or not is hugely relevant, we are not sheep. We didn’t vote for such rules (not laws). People don’t trust what the government are doing because one month we are being told to eat out to help out the next we are told to not leave home again.

What put us in shit street was the governments lack of knowledge and ability to isolate those who could get seriously ill and throwing a blanket approach over the rest of the population. Leaving many more to suffer the mental effects, the loss of jobs and lack of care for other major conditions that has lead to thousands of deaths that wouldn’t have happened.

Life should be enjoyed whilst it can be. Now because of these rules life is going to be a misery for many more than the minority who have become more ill with covid than their underlying health conditions already made them.

Enjoying following the law of land as you put it when those rules don’t allow you to go and work out in a gym to stay fit but allow you to go McDonalds and get fat.

The government's initial handling was appaling as we knew what was coming and their communications, often ambiguous and untimely have not helped, but if you think those who have ignored the rules haven't made things worse in terms of prolonging the restrictions, then there is nothing left to be said.
