People in the know are finding out info from their various sources and if they are right things are beginning to unravel for the accusers.
It very easy to throw accusations around the hard bit is having the evidence to prove them.
It appears that the chickens maybe coming home to roost .

If the case falls apart before getting to the hearing then all football fans outside City will attribute it to some sort of corruption.

We deserve our day in court to clear our name.

They will anyway, that’s just how it will be. You could show them ten signed documents from top judges clearing every charge, and it would be met with shouts of corruption.

He had been let go/banned by City at the time and was trying to stay relevant, he took a massive gamble calling the verdict and he burnt whatever bridges he had left at the club in doing so.

Not even City knew the verdict when he was tweeting the words “exonerated”.

He took a punt and was 99% correct

As a previous poster had already alluded, this is probably the biggest smear campaign in sporting history going on before our eyes and ears day in, day out. We’ll never be seen as innocent even if cleared however we’ll still follow the team through thick and thin as we always have. Half of the red top fans regularly state how they’re done with football after having to endure such hardships as not qualifying for the CL, boo fucking hoo, imagine if they’d had to go through a fraction of the shite we have in the past, they’d have jumped ship years ago.
