Doesn't help when these teams sit back, 11 men behind the ball, looking for a counter. Anti-football. Suppose that's the price of being good but they don't do it just through fear, they get a buzz from not being beaten by us so they give a lot of effort - effort they wouldn't give even if it meant taking points in a part of the table where it actually mattered to them.

How do you combat that?
Has been the same for years and never used to be a problem. You combat it with being creative, smart and showing some desperation to score in the final third. Something we clearly aren't doing as well as we used to.

Its not anti football its playing the game on its merits. Brilliant from Frank. They could be 2 up away v 3rd place by now. They are doing their job
That's the logic behind it. But it's still anti-football the way it needs to be achieved.

Tell Walker to stay home in the right side of defence and move Stones forward. Then, KDB for Alvarez, slide Foden inside and let KDB sit in the 8 spot pumping in and sliding balls through.

They’ve looked more dangerous on the break than we have and we are both lucky not to have conceded.

Bit loose with our last third passing and we are not taking shots when we have the chance. Too many touches in and around the box. Shots can go anywhere, break for anyone, and get a deflection.

Yep pretty much what I’m thinking
