I have an ex colleague friend of mine that did 2 stints in the RAF. A decent human being, decorated, and a quiet, unassuming man. A talented engineer, and a very private individual. He didn't generally discuss what he did in the forces, and I respected that, even though I knew he had tales to tell. He preferred to keep them to himself. Fair enough.
Then one day the subject of Prince Andrew came up. He had met him a few times.
This kindly, almost shy fella started to get quite animated, he told me that this Prince Andrew fellow was the rudest, most unpleasant individual he had ever met. No sense of reality, he talked down to everyone he met, basically a self entitled ****.
I trust this mans opinion.

I would suggest that his entitlement , frequently displayed, meant he didn't give a proverbial about the room or anybody in it. All the royals are the same. What are the consequences to this? I can understand in a military setting youd probably get a bollocking...but in a "private" setting such as that golf club

Not that id be the sort of person to frequent a posh golf club, but id be more than happy to "ignore", and even make it known i was doing it deliberately
