Got there in the end after going behind due to a bit of poor defending from us and nice finish from them. A good run out for a few players who definitely needed it. Great turnout from the travelling blues as well.

Wasn't the best game to watch but getting through was the main thing. We can now erase it from our memory.

Cherki was great and Marmoush's finish was a belter.

A prospect is what he was. Give him time, but far from convinced he’s got what it takes at our level.

Cherki was excellent, Nico G was very good. Marmoush is a goofball with a fantastic finish. Doku his usual self. Rest were rusty or a bit meh - some understandable aspects (coming back from injury or just lack of games), but still wanted more from them. Ah well, a win and minutes

Great 2nd half gave Swansea absolutely nothing in fact they had 70 passes only no shots and just 1 corner.

Cherki and Gonzalez brilliant. Marmoush much better 2nd half.

On we go

Thought Marmoush was terrible in almost everything he did apart from a great finish. He’s got a brilliant strike on him but aside from that looks nothing like a Pep player.

Out of the starters i thought Doku was decent and Cherki very good. Some absolutely awful performances but on we go.

At least we managed to shut that fuckin inane Corrs song they were singing all the way through the first half. What a fuckin dirge that is.

Great result

A very worrying performance - it shows that our squad is not up to scratch at all.

RAN again with a shocking performance - Nico OReilly who is a number 10 is streets ahead of this guy defensively
Khusonov - been a fan of his but he was extremely poor
Marmoush - great finish BUT his interplay was scruffy
Oscar Bobb - not sure how he is getting in the team - every performance this season has been poor
Rico Lewis aint a right back - his best work is done in the middle and attacking third
Doku - good goal and kept trying but not enough quality in the last action

The bright light was Cherki was very good - hope he can take that performance up a level in the prem league - he will need to play quicker but his individual quality is undoubted
Foden looked bright when he came on except for one wayward pass

No injures _hopefully

I thought we played well tonight. Considering we had alot of players getting back to full fitness. Big shout outs to Nico G and Cherki.

We were also away to an underdog team this far in. It was a banana skin that tonight and the lads pulled through.

If it was a PL game I agree, but it was a Carabao cup game against a rubbish second tier opponent, it's Ok to be more harsh than usual, especially in the first half.

A lot of folk coming back from injury it wasn't pretty but a lot of needed minutes and after half time we created a fair few chances and didn't concede any.
