First team players not injured he choose to rest not even on the bench : Mamardashvili,Bradley,Konate,Van Dijk,Szoboslai,Jones,Salah,Wirtz,Gakpo,Ekitike. He wanted to loose no big team behaves like this.
The only thing that makes a bit of sense is that he prioritized the league and CL games coming up and threw this game away to avoid more injuries, strage that he didn't come up with that and instead mentioned us and Chelsea.

Especially as Palace have beaten them twice already this season. Occasionally it is ok to throw a game if you have bigger fish to fry but not after spending half a billion and then complaining about it.

But that reflects an attitude of entitlement , which dippers know all about.

It’s early days yet to judge their transfer window as eventually all the signings they made could come good. Signing proven players in the premier league and the champions league is something City used to as a club when Pep arrived and I could understand the logic of why Liverpool went after the players they did. Going big on the spending and betting the entire house to steal a march on City and Arsenal from a position of strength as champions hasn’t worked so far.

They’ve put Salah and Van Dijk on silly contracts and went big this window. Where does this leave them on their accounts when they haven’t posted a profit since 2022? They will get prize money for winning the league and they also have extra match day income from the Anfield road extension and their new kit deal. Can they sustain this spending they’ve just done as it sounds like Slott wants more again in the summer if he feels the squad depth as gone.

You're joking right, if we had spent that much and were playing like they are currently playing thered enough articles on the press to circumnavigate the planet and a nightly discussion on sly sports about what has gone wrong and is this the downfall of pep. They should be rightly judged as we so often are, just cos their pet press give them a free pass doesnt mean they should get one.

From what I’ve heard from Pool fans

This is all his own fault.

He plays Kerkez as an inverted fullback when he doesn’t have the skills to. He was the best overlapping fullback last season.

He doesn’t have anyone in front of the defence he leaves his midfield void and relies on individual brilliance to win games.

His tactics are what’s killing him. Playing both strikers at the same time. Isak without Wirtz. Not playing Frimpong with Salah.

Sending a super inexperienced side against Palace was also naive. No first team players on the bench only more kids.

They have a super tough run of games coming up. They can genuinely be on our 1 win 10 games like we did last season ours was worse but still lots of fans are losing hope in the manager.

They have no idea why he’s making these decisions.

Reminds me of when we were on the hunt for the 4th title in a row and Pep kept playing Akanji into midfield thinking he’s Stones and Alvarez into midfield thinking he’s KDB and he wasted 65% of the season when we could’ve walked it. Thank goodness he saw the light and started playing Foden and Kova in midfield and allowing Gvardiol to push up on the left wing to do his thing.

What shouldn't be overlooked is that the dippers down tick has coincided with the rags up tick in form. So much so they are a point behind the rags. Amorims rebirth is getting to Slot

Wtf is he on about again? He spent half a billion and picked a team of youngsters deliberately. He was begging to lose for some reason. Smug **** unravelling this season.

We were pretty dire last season, but City fans should be proud Pep handled it with alot more grace.

He picked that team and the bench of youth players who haven’t played a minute to prove a point and him knowing if he started a few first team players and got beat he wouldn’t not have the excuse he is spouting now!

Guarantee in pep press conference tomorrow someone will mention it and with Pep being so nice won’t rock the Slot boat
