Fantastic performance from the lads. Erling, Nunes and Nico Reilly outstanding. Some great block by the defence. Loved Cherk’s assists too.
 
Everybody has said it really: a very good performance throughout the whole team. Very much Pep City. Cherki’s creativity made a big difference. Onwards and upwards for the blue boys.
Well done.
 
Thought that was our best performance of the season at times.

Cherki was excellent....get him fitter and more use to the prem and we have some player - him and foden linked very well
Haaland obviously superb

Special mentions to Bernardo and Nunes....thought both were very very good defensively. Bernardo's work rate was superb - positionally he was always there. Nunes kept one of the most dangerous wide players so far this season relatively quiet. He just needs to learn not to get spun at times as he still tends to dive on occasionally but his positioning has so improved - I was concerned about him before the start of the game so absolutely delighted for him.

Dias looked back towards his best.

Nico G continues to grow

OReilly - excellent - deservedly starting left back

Donarumma - should have done better on that cross for their goal
 
Can I just check that other than the fabulous fans of the South Stand - if anyone else was at the game? From the Colin Bell we could hear Earling breathing - Jesus what an embarrassing fan performance. Worse than Everton, despite some good football too…maybe I should stick to Away games only and boycott the Etihad…
 
Game of 2 halves as usual. First half was great could’ve scored 4 goals. Everyone was on fire. The energy wa electric. 2nd half was not the best without without the goal. Haaland was barely used and looked exhausted from all the failed transitions.

Players who did amazing
Haaland, Cherki (first half only), Foden, Bernardo, OR (as usual),and our new most important player Nico G. Who was moving like Rodri in the first phases and when he was surrounded by 3 payers he would dribble past them and not lose the ball. Incredible.

I think Doku was very unlucky and should’ve had 2 assists. Marmoush and Reinjders should’ve come on sooner but great result nonetheless.

Nunes and Dias are playing at their best. They can handle anything we throw at them.
 
Hard to be critical after that game. A good match from 2 entertaining sides. Bournemouth are a very decent side with bags of pace all over the pitch. They will cause a lot of problems for other teams - well managed club.

As for us we looked so good in that first 70 mins - could easily have had 5 goals and the link up play from Erling, Rayan and Phil ably assisted by Doku made us better balanced. Thought Nico made a lot of our forward play possible - he's getting better and better.

Re those talking about fans getting onto Savinho - well for me if he had started instead of Cherki I don't think we win that game. That is enough reason to expect more. He will have to work a lot harder to be first choice from now in my opinion - I think Omar deserved to be on as first sub to play from the right.

Josko has to play in the middle - we look a lot better organised and Nunes & O'Reilly are dong a great job.

Overall a great result and it confirmed we have found a gem in Rayan Cherki.
