Bournemouth (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Can I just check that other than the fabulous fans of the South Stand - if anyone else was at the game? From the Colin Bell we could hear Earling breathing - Jesus what an embarrassing fan performance. Worse than Everton, despite some good football too…maybe I should stick to Away games only and boycott the Etihad…
Talk about an apt name

Some of the football was lovely. Cherki's desire to play a forward pass is a real pleasure to watch. Both Nico's were great today. Haaland...well, he's not a world class footballer, we score more without him and we're better when he doesn't play.

Played well today one of the best performances all season. No mugs this year Bournemouth they played some decent ball themselves

Solid performance against a decent side. Only negative really was conceding a goal, and you could make a case that we might/should have bagged a couple more.

Needed after the Villa game, and whilst we're six behind Arsenal, there is a very long way to go, and they are bottlers. It's us or them, and I think it will be us.
Innit!

There was a moment in the first half when we were counter attacking and Cherki received the ball and stopped. Dead. And I suddenly saw Rodney Marsh. Brilliant. Flashy. But bad news for our quick passing side at the time. I do hope I’m wrong.
Pep wants 'Pausa'. Its over my head but hopefully he was playing 3d chess by doing so.

Fantastic first half, tailed off a bit in the second.
Loving Cherki, Nunes showing what he's capable of, the Viking is the Viking, NOR is outstanding, Pep and the players have a smile on their faces, same against Dortmund and the murderers please.

Great performance against 13 men (Taylor and his sidekick) All played well, Bernardo and Nunes included. Bit sloppy at times but it'll come. Makes that wimpy defeat at Villa hurt more though when you look at the table.

Thought we were great. Haaland and Cherki really click and you can sense something special brewing.

There’s still a lot to work on, but over the season you can really see the progression in partnerships, where the players no where to be and where to move to make the space. It’s great to win by a decent score against a decent team, but even better to see the team progressing for the future.
