11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

Wow.

When we played them last year he skinned Arnold time after time and Konate ended up doubling up on him. Final product wasn't quite there then and he was restricted to the touchline. The difference with him playing with more freedom is remarkable - his head is up, he can (and does) go either way. From the first minute when we ran 80 yards with the ball you could see he was on it.

And hands up, I didn't see him training on like this. Well aren't I a bit of a plant pot?

Really took a step up this year in his overall game, coming into the middle a lot more has helped him massively too.

I'm also happy he scored as I have him in my FPL team and I'm tired of other players not finishing the chances he's been setting them up with over the last few weeks.

Great to see Doku's physical performance, over 90 mins!
(EDIT - nearly 90, but my point stands.)

Back then he always looked as if he was afraid of his next hammy, but now he really works hard the whole match without any fear.

Can't wait til Omar, Cherki, Khuz and Tijji get to that physical PL level.
Interesting times ahead...

Sublime today. Was unplayable. Plus, had more shots on target (3) than the entirety of the Liverpool team (1). Long may it continue!

I've slammed him enough, but the days when I'm forced to admit that he's had a good match are definitely coming more frequently, and the way that he grabbed today by the scruff of its neck was reminiscent of Bernardo putting RM to sword in the 4-0. He'll forever be the face of this match.

He should be brimming with confidence now - maybe that's all he needs?

The chalk and cheese contrast between his good and bad days would mean it would be like signing a new player, as far as I'm concerned.

I’ve slagged him off but today, brilliant. Which I thought he would be, I don’t rate Bradley

But that’s the job, Jezza - do it again….

Such a ridiculous comment mate that’s almost comical. Bradley is a very good one v one defender, light years ahead of Arnold (who Doku tour a new one last season to the point where he looked like a pub player). Granted he didn’t produce the end product as Liverpool just defended the box and we didn’t have Erling that day. Not sure if you seen Bradley against the superstar is that JR the other night but Bradley pocketed him .

He still does daft things at times but he’s a great watch and such a threat.

Fantastic today but he must track back some times, Slobarslai (or whatever his name is) kept dropping wide left unmarked meaning Oreilly had to step up to pick him up, leaving Salah alone. This happened quite a few times.

This isn’t the Conner Bradley thread but it doesn’t take much to look at how the Liverpool community were writing him off 3 weeks ago

He played well V Vini but Real Madrid phoned that game in, they were a lazy disgrace

I’ve posted on here that Doku + O’Reilly would get joy. Primarily because they are both mint and secondary that Salah hasn’t got the physicality and/or the desire to get back and help

Doku was top today. No ifs , not buts. Next game is Newcastle away - do it again. That’s the job
