11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

Written off by many fans when he was just 20-21 years of age.

Keeps getting better, keeps proving people wrong.
Yep. I was one of them. Delighted that he's proving me and many others to be chatting sh*t.

He was outstanding today. And has been great the vast majority of the season. I've much more appreciation of him now.

Seems to massively raise his game for these big PL fixtures. Need consistency from him now, though.
He's like adama Traore without the flashy muscles, you just cannot ease the lad off the ball, he's a tank, needs to give lessons to our other wingers in that.

Somebody get him some baby oil for Christmas.

In 12 months time we'll be doing that thing of quoting old posts calling him shit. He's a special player, pep is now using him correctly and he's only going to get better.

That was one of the best individual performances we've seen for a very long time. Had Bradley on toast, shame frimpong wasn't fit enough to get roasted too, that would have been a massacre.

He isn't going to do that every game but he is always a threat now. That finish today is something we have been crying out for from one of our wingers since mahrez left. Having a winger who can cut inside and smack one in the top corner is invaluable, not only is it one of the best sources of goals, particularly breakthrough goals, but it is also a threat that opposition will have to try and neutralise and doing that gives Haaland more space, you can't just mark haaland anymore when doku can cut in and do that or foden can bang one in from outside the box, the extra dimensions enhance everything else.
I cant wait. I have a few bookmarks on a few threads. :)

Wow.

When we played them last year he skinned Arnold time after time and Konate ended up doubling up on him. Final product wasn't quite there then and he was restricted to the touchline. The difference with him playing with more freedom is remarkable - his head is up, he can (and does) go either way. From the first minute when we ran 80 yards with the ball you could see he was on it.

And hands up, I didn't see him training on like this. Well aren't I a bit of a plant pot?

Really took a step up this year in his overall game, coming into the middle a lot more has helped him massively too.

I'm also happy he scored as I have him in my FPL team and I'm tired of other players not finishing the chances he's been setting them up with over the last few weeks.

Great to see Doku's physical performance, over 90 mins!
(EDIT - nearly 90, but my point stands.)

Back then he always looked as if he was afraid of his next hammy, but now he really works hard the whole match without any fear.

Can't wait til Omar, Cherki, Khuz and Tijji get to that physical PL level.
Interesting times ahead...

Sublime today. Was unplayable. Plus, had more shots on target (3) than the entirety of the Liverpool team (1). Long may it continue!

I've slammed him enough, but the days when I'm forced to admit that he's had a good match are definitely coming more frequently, and the way that he grabbed today by the scruff of its neck was reminiscent of Bernardo putting RM to sword in the 4-0. He'll forever be the face of this match.

He should be brimming with confidence now - maybe that's all he needs?

The chalk and cheese contrast between his good and bad days would mean it would be like signing a new player, as far as I'm concerned.

I’ve slagged him off but today, brilliant. Which I thought he would be, I don’t rate Bradley

But that’s the job, Jezza - do it again….
