No wonder, the media are whipping up the liverpool fans into a frenzy... Quite ridiculous Sky Sports front page right now

That club are embarrassing

They (Liverpool) 100% know what they are doing, asking all the media outlets to put the pressure on and highlight it to the highest levels so Liverpool will get the rest of this season's close VAR decisions in their favour, 100% they will get every close call going for them, even goals that should be crossed off will stand or not even checked

Michael Owen , that well known neutral , asking the questions straight out of the Liverpool appeal to PGMOL .

How can you say a player is not interfering in with play when he has to literally duck to get out of the flight of a ball a yard in front of the goalkeeper ?

TBH I think the post match manager interview is cat nip to the broadcasters . It takes about an hour minimum to calm down after you've lost a game , especially when you've given your team a bollocking which is likely what Slott did . So you' re up for a fight and in defence mode and seething but trying to suppress it . Best tactic is deflection to avoid saying something wreckless ( unless you're Tuchal who just has no filter ). Probably the only effective decision Slott made all afternoon was to gripe about the disallowed goal thus supercharging the debate .

Point is we spanked them . They had one shot on target . One shot. End of .

Typical Webb trying to spoil all our fun.
I don't give a shit whether in was offside, onside or even top side, I am just enjoying the dipper and media melt down. Both are showing themselves up and it is hilarious
There’s nothing more enjoyable than a laugh at one (or more) of the red shirt cartel clubs that think they have been done an injustice.

And this is really enjoyable.

Schadenfreude is the perfect word for it.

Michael "boring" Owen, a former Littlewoods player, thinks the goal should have stood?

Well, there’s a shock!

Thought Webb spoke well. He dangled enough bait for the victims to continue their fume.

The match officials were pretty concise in coming to the decision.

Goal still won’t count, whatever they demand.
The main message to the victims is ‘so fucking what’
Fuck off and cry!
I would appeal of course .. parliament, court of human rights, maybe NATO, trump and who ever they want.. they got beaten, battered, shit on and lost.
So dippers.. fuck right off.

Best thing is, they’ve got 2 weeks to stew on it.

Have they contacted the Dalai Lama yet?

Calling @Ric to the thread....they are all picking on me....it's not fair!

That’s all the twats really want is an apology so they can validate that they were robbed.
They cannot lose without creating controversy.
Afraid that an apology won't help my acca that crashed and cost me £300 (possibly) by us not scoring.

Whilst I obviously see it slightly differently from many of you, in that I thought the "goal" should have stood. I cannot see any mileage in complaining to PGMOL. It did nothing for us a couple of seasons ago, did nothing for Forest or Wolves and will never do anything to change any game after the fact. So, why bother?

Bottom line is that our "mini revival", was short lived, with the Villa & RM games hiding our deficiencies. As was pointed out Salah has dropped off a cliff form wise and perhaps his soon to be disappearance to AFCON could be the break that he and the team need. City thoroughly deserved the win and its down to Slot to prove his worth now and fix the problems that are obviously there. He has to change something and I hope he isn't as stubborn as Postecoglu or Martin in the past and make the changes needed.

Something I have been pissed off about from the off.
If and when are we going to get this 'independent body' I often hear bandied about?

Bet your life that there will be no questions raised about this relationship which exists, despite the PL paying the employer of PiGMOL officials.

Conflict of interests ? Convenient if trying to excuse the strange decisions which occur in certain games, some might believe that the relationship could lead to collusion between the two parties ?

Pressure by certain clubs to try and engineer results as a consequence of their complaints perhaps - by using the media to publicly highlight decisions which didn't go in their favour ?

Surely no self-respecting and prominent club would resort to such underhand tactics ?

But, I'm sure the leading officials from the PL and PiGMOL hierarchies will be only too happy to reassure us that there is nothing for us to be concerned about - due to them upholding the strong principles of honesty and integrity.

Please mind the rocking horse shit gentlemen.

They were fkin played off the park..

Ran ragged, out passed, out played, out thought, out fought, out muscled and out scored..

Half a billion spent and one shot on goal in the entire game says it all..

I'm not including van dicks header because, get this you whining scouse *****, IT WAS OFFSIDE..!

Your sweaty sock fullback was interfering with play and was correctly flagged..

Running off to the powers that be to complain because your club cannot accept the rules that are in place after the calls you've regularly benefitted from yourselves is beyond belief..

You got screens up inside your ground yet. ?

Have you fuck..

5 defeats in 11 PL games and counting, scraping last minute winners at Burnley and Newcastle, not to mention hanging on for grim death at home to Bournemouth.

Whinging about the perceived injustice of a correctly disallowed goal in a game you were handed your arses to is fooling nobody..

You're a bit shit, well more than a bit shit to be honest and trying to deflect this by
claiming wrongdoing (ooh, look over there) is fkin laughable..

Biggest club in the world don't you know..

European royalty.

YNWA.. most of your fans had fucked off after 75 minutes..

Imagine being us.. Er, no thanks..!
The crying and complaining is all about trying to get every decision in their favour in future games. They did it when Spurs beat them and cried so much that the media backed them. That put enough pressure on officials and everything went their way. They are doing it again now as they are losing games and will worry Champions league may not be reachable. Difference now is that people know what is going on, they have seen it before, and I doubt even the many biased ex red pundits that are everywhere can save them.

I support Everton. We are mainly gash, but we keep supporting our team through it all. That is because we are real fans. We don't need trophies (Would not mind one though) to love our team. That is why I like City. Your fans stayed with the club no matter how bad it got, and you were rewarded big time for it. I doubt the tourist who follow our neighbours would put up with it if they had been in our shoes, and they would simply go find another club to follow. I actually feel sorry for the real Liverpool supporters who have to put up with the crying and moaning and the big headed 'Best in the world' any time they win anything, that the cult fans and the red media plug so much.

By the way. Their crying is even more laughable as City destroyed them on Sunday.

Brilliant post, sir.

As I don't gamble, I can't really sympathise with your loss , however as usual your posts are always reasonable and difficult to disagree with a lot of what you say.

I think the complaint to PiGMOL is actually fucking pathetic and so typical of LFC, who on such occasions align with your more childish and moronic supporters.
The goal was ruled out correctly in the opinion of the officials, and these things happen to every club, even mentality monsters !

The consequence of this pathetic appeal is to absolutely reinforce the opinion of football fans in general that your club believes itself to be victimised and entitled.

An embarrassment in fact.
