Anyone know if the canal side bar is open Sunday?

Not sure if there are 2 places at the Co-Op then? As i went in before Everton game, no £5 entrance fee loads of places to sit indoors and outdoors, food was cheap and had a good selection, pies, chicken strips, chips etc, and getting a beer was no problem very efficient service

Its not always open before the game -check the pregame stuff on the website. We were looking forward to trying it out before the Bournemouth game and it was shut. I think it depends on what they have going on in the evening.

I have been in. Its decent. No queues and decent beer. Could probably do with a bit more seating, but overall i would recommend it. Last orders an hour before kick off, and they won't you out 30 minutes before the game kicks off.

I had a peroni in the first bar as you walk in, but they didn't do it in the main bar, but i went on the Guinness, so not sure what else they had. But there is a big choice. And both my drinks were decent quality.

I've had my matchday email from the club, and makes no mention of co-op live for this fixture.
Went before the liverpool game and thought it was good.

We go whenever it’s open and like it, and very convenient for Entrance B. There’s a gig on at Coop on Saturday so I guess it won’t be open, although I don’t see why they couldn’t do both given we’re all out by 2.30ish

Get there early (ie when it opens) if you want to get a decent seat to watch the 12.30 game. When this is open we’ve given up on the train/tram lottery and just get an Uber direct to the Coop (no traffic issues at 12.00) straight in and watch the early game in a good venue with stadium beer prices and 300m walk to our turnstile. OK it’s not an authentic “local” feel but it’s really convenient.
