I was there today so please correct me. Their penalty, I am sure he didn't blow his whistle for a foul, he played advantage, they shot and they missed so he gave a penalty. That is, if I'm correct wrong in every department.

It was a terrible bit of refereeing. I was right in line of it, If their shot that went over the bar had gone in then the shit would really have hit the fan.

Refs referee [IFABS] laws of the game and to a certain extent how PIGMOL in UK apply them.
Refs didn't decide that attackers cannot now score if handled the ball, even if accidental. It
came from consensus from within the game.

The handball offence for a penalty has been
reviewed a number of times. Referees now give far fewer penalties for handball as the view in the game in general by consensus was that we didn't want that.

So the game can and should control what the Ref can do. Fans are an integral part of the game. Every Fan Forum should have a Ref
thread. It helps in educating fans on some of the more complex decisions and helps to identify
areas where there are perceived inconsistencies
of application.

The referee today was so bad even when he got it right he got it wrong. He was so desperate to give a penalty against us he blew immediately.
He should have paused to see if Leeds still scored. If Leeds had scored as he'd already blown, it would have been a penalty only. If
then Leeds had missed the penalty[which they
nearly did], Leeds would have been robbed of
a perfectly good goal

You maybe havent but there are peplon here who regularly complain about refereeing performances...they are as bad and deluded as tht twat goldbridge....though he is just a very poor actor in all reality just in it for the money

I've posted on here several times that pre-kick off I give every ref the benefit of the doubt, and invariably the first whistle reveals another sub-standard arbitrator.

Not really. I've said we were shit and got away with one. That doesn't excuse that refereeing performance. Two identical fouls happened within a couple of minutes with two different outcomes.

We are reffed differently.

If you are referring to Nunes and Doku they were completeley different imo.

Nunes was stupid and it was unnecessary and Doku was looking for the foul.

Even the outcome is often not advised on the screen. Today had Gvardiol - not offside as the only one shown.

To be fair, from where I was sat in the ground, the ref he worked his bollocks off today in tying to secure the correct result to insure that the rest of the PL (red shirt cartel cnuts) benefitted from the outcome of today's game..

Unfortunately for him, City won the game and thus fucked up his efforts in the end..!
