There are plenty of clubs with two singing/ standing ends. Leeds probably being the best example of that.

Why can’t we have that? We have more than enough fans around the ground. Most people can’t get into ss1 either - not in large groups

Because Leeds tickets are incredibly hard to get if you arent a long time fan. Their ticketing process is incredibly rewarding to their regulars.

I've got a mate who's a Leeds fan.
He lives in Glasgow.
He tries to get to as many Leeds home matches as he can get to.
He's a Leeds member.
He can't get a ticket through Leeds.
He can only get tickets from ticket touting websites paying extra.
As a rule he ends up in the main stand.

Yeah, my brother is a Leeds fan and he's tried in the past. He can't even get close to getting tickets. There's so many tiers to accessibility and then ballots that come after. Outside of cup games against rollover opponents, they don't get close to general sale.

Villa, spurs, arsenal, Liverpool, Leeds, Chelsea, United and loads of other teams have two ends. Going off some of the posts on here you’d think we wouldn’t be able to replicate that.

For all the shit that the plastics and tourists get, there are regulars that I've been sat near whenever I've gone to games that show up 10 mins late, shake hands with everyone around them, talk about literally anything other than the game, go to the bar 5 mins early, come back 5 mins late then leave on 80 mins.

A lot of our fanbase has become complacent.

Although I will say I got to the derby in 2023/24 and was sat next to a kid around 10 years old who was very vocal about how much he absolutely despised United. Have to respect it.

This always gets a few funny looks and comments going around the ground when someone like Doku will do a mazy run around three players and have a good shot just go wide and the song that’ll go up from the vocal area will be something like ‘Johnny Johnny Stones, Johnny Johnny Johnny Stones’.

People will look at each other and raise one eye brow, and someone will shout ‘well at least they’ve sung something’ to a few laughs and then everyone will join in ‘he gets the Blues excited, he fucking hates United, Johnny Johnny Stones…’.

Doku’s probably looking around the ground thinking ‘fuckers!’.

Yes it's not easy to get Leeds home tickets but they have a Ticket Exchange now and tickets were available to members up until kick off time against Chelsea. They had away season ticket cards too that they have now restricted more.

Memberships were £75 and £50. Ours are relatively cheap in comparison, and then there was the Black Friday deal.

Midweek match. First home game back in the Prem. Think we got battered at Charlton a few days earlier.

It might help the atmosphere if half the south stand don’t fuck off to the concourses at around 35 minutes and return about five to ten minutes after the second half has started. Is the beer really that good?

Leeds have a very small stadium with just 36,000 capacity.

Stadium capacity makes absolutely no difference. The fact is that @jrb 's mate can get tickets through ticket agencies, no doubt connected to Leeds, at an inflated price.

In a nutshell, just like City, Leeds prioritise ticket agencies above genuine fans who pay for memberships. It's a fucking disgrace.

As an aside, it's interesting to note that, according to published information, Leeds haven't 'sold out' any home match this season, and their average home attendance (to date) is 36,743. That's over 1,000 lower than the capacity of the stadium (37,890).

It seems that, like City, Leeds don't give a shit about fans being able to get tickets.
