10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

A lot to love, but Pep isn't going to love him losing the ball unnecessarily as much as he does at times, and I don't mean when he's trying to create a chance, but when he's doing simple things. He alluded to it as much after his rabona assist.

Outrageous footballer. Has everything you need.

Can’t believe we got a free run at him. Got to give props to Viana for getting it done with minimal fuss (it was done in June!).

Can’t wait to see how he fulfils his potential. The ideal profile of player we needed post-Kev. A spark of beauty and creativity.

Raindrops keep falling on my head

He said when he signed that he wanted to win the Ballon D'Or, and believed he could do it here just like Rodri.

I thought, cocky bastard. He'll have to come back down to earth before Pep can get the best out of him.

Erm... maybe he was right.

Said in the summer we’ve signed one hell of a talent. Enjoy him he’s ours. Lyon have been up and down he’s never had consistency when developing, first season last year with Lyon he had consistency and showed his best ever season.

Now he’s here under the best manager in the world, at a stable club environment he’s just going to continue to flourish. Both footed , technically brilliant.

He’s a maverick. Fully anticipate a Pep meltdown when one of his backheels leads to a counter attack goal but let’s enjoy him in the meantime

"Get your own fucking celebrations". - haaland tonight, probably.

Pretty quiet game really overall but a really special strike to make the difference. Said the other day he's got to add goals to his game, and there you go. More of that please lad.

That goal had the benefits of being two footed on full display. I dont know why more professional footballers arent two footed, it shoukdnt be that rare at that level, it makes the world of difference. kids in academies should be playing games with their weak foots.

He was fine with KDB doing it. If the rewards outweigh the risk, then Pep will let him do his thing.

He loves players that “open the game” for him.
