So if the club raised ticket prices to £1,000 per game, you’d still go? Or are you not a loyal enough supporter? No happy clappers. Just loyal supporters.

Block 303 - and the higher rows are blanked out.Are you sure those "unavailable" seats haven't already been sold? What block is it?
That looks like blocks of seats that will be getting sold as either part of a hospitality package, or via the clubs official partners(touts).Block 303 - and the higher rows are blanked out.
Or Impressive to sell banks of up to 25 seats on consecutive rows within the first 15 mins of sale, including the row I am on.
I always have way more regulars around me for FA Cup games, compared with League Cup or UCL games, so I can definitely get behind the 20,000 figure.Very early Exeter count (sales only opened at 11am):
Level 3 - 5406
Level 2 - 2873
Level 1 - 7655
Total - 15,934
With the 8000 or so Exeter allocation, this would indicate around 28,000-29,000 of the home allocation have been sold. My guess is that we have around 20,000 fans on the FA Cup scheme
It goes on sale to all Cityzens matchday and junior members at 3pm so I'd expect a big surge in sales then
You don’t know it’s the same people complaining ;)Add 7.30pm to the list of excuses.
I remember the days when all evening ko's were 7.30pm.
Then they moved to 7.45pm and people moaned, and when they moved it to 8.00pm, they moaned even louder, now when there is a 7.30pm, a time they didn't want it moved from , they moan it is too early.
I remember when vegetables were organic, then they added things and put the price up, then they started selling organic, with nothing added and they put the price up. I prefer vegetables with soil attached, but it is against health and safety. Don't get me started on fish and chip wrappings, can't read brown paper can you.;)

Plus many things have changed in recent years such as removing free parking nearby adding to costs and not expanding the public transport system to cater for larger numbers. You can create a list and call them excuses if you like but these facts are facts. At least two large groups of people turned up late near me last night because they struggled to get through the traffic from wherever they came. It would not surprise me if some foresaw that and decided to give the game a miss, I don’t see that as an unreasonable assumption.
I agree. You price out fans for years, out of all the big games, all the games that mean the most and then you just expect them to come back for the midweek game, with the second string playingYou can't just lower the prices for a couple of unattractive cup games and expect priced out fans to come flooding back.
Winning back priced out fans should be a long campaign of fair pricing, across the board, not just the odd game here or there.
It would be pretty mental if they weren’t higher, with all the success we’ve hadMoan, moan, moan. Our crowds now are much higher than the early 00s especially for cup matches.
Last nights game, the tourists couldn’t be bothered. It wasn’t Madrid or Liverpool. Not really baffling. They have a ludicrous amount of plastic fans like no other team, that takes up the slack on the occasions it’s required. We are not like that, some of the ticketing decisions taken by the club over a prolonged period are frankly barmy
It was very noticeable last night how much fuller the ground became at about 7.45pm compared to kick off. The transport was dire as usual. Both legs of my train journey were cancelled at the last minute. I did wonder if a lot of people thought it was an 8pm kick off as well. In fact it looked a very good crowd in the end, well over 40,000.You don’t know it’s the same people complaining ;)

Surely for games like this, it’s not people coming from far away or on trains the club should be targeting to fill the ground? It was very noticeable last night how much fuller the ground became at about 7.45pm compared to kick off. I only came from Preston. The ground was packed with local familes and the walk back to town was very crowded.Surely for games like this, it’s not people coming from far away or on trains the club should be targeting to fill the ground?
Fa cup/ league games I think you make the price dirt cheap, you offer tickets to local schools and encourage locals, who don’t rely on public transport as much to get to the ground.
I get what you’re saying, I’m just thinking if travelling or trains are a problem, target families in and around Manchester. It is there local club. Think about how many city fans there are in east Manchester alone or kids who could become city fans.I only came from Preston. Liverpool have a number of tickets that go to people with an l postcode, maybe we should do something similar for certain games?
The local tickets Liverpool sell are subsided as well, they were always £9, although that could've changed.I get what you’re saying, I’m just thinking if travelling or trains are a problem, target families in and around Manchester. Good to hear, so the club can do this kind of thing when it suits them.Loads of Blues were giving away free tickets for last night and I don’t think you needed to have a paid membership either.
