Pep has already told him he won't play much.Seen that. He has been told he has to play, not leave specifically. And still doesn't mean he immediately wants out at the drop of a koeman comment.
Palace wanted to sell back in the summer. It was all agreed with Guehi on his way to sign the contract on deadline day.
Glasner then turned round and said if you sell him I am resigning.
They stuck with the manager and told Guehi the deal was off.
Glasner holds a lot of power at that club and the board at Palace know if they lose Glasner they can say goodbye to any potential conference league or European finish.
You can say that againI was for stones to be given renewal of contract than ake but lately have reversed by opinion. We should renew ake not stones. Stones is never available when we need him. Much moore unavailable than ake is. And we need a title winning experienced defender as well so we have to renew one of them.
Depends how far down the line and on how set is is/was on the Liverpool move
We have some aces in players they may want
Maybe even go one further sign him now pay him a big signing on fee and let him stay on loan until the Summer
I think we need to be creative to get him ahead of Liverpool because there is space in both defences
We have Ake and Bobb who may interest them

Yeah there was talk about him going if they outdent get a viable replacement I thought. They were trying to strike a deal for someone and it fell through. Guehi literally had his medical at Liverpool.I'm not sure it played out entirely like that. I think Glasner was obviously very concerned by Guehi leaving but more so because they hadn't brought in a replacement. They moved late to try and bring someone in but couldn't so they called the Guehi sale off. They were linked with Akanji but he clearly would have rejected that considering he's at Inter - bigger clubs were in for him.
It's quite simple for Palace in my opinion. Sell him next month and reinvest in an attempt to help keep Glasner happy. Let him go for free in the summer, potentially struggle to finance a move for someone to replace him and watch Glasner go too.
Ultimately I think Glasner goes soon anyway, they can't match his ambition.
5 centre backs but looking at Gvardiol and Khusanov, two options who can also fill in the fullback positions if required. That, and allowing for injuries, should mean game time for everyone.5 centre backs of Dias/Gvardiol/Guehi/Kusanov/Reiss would leave us very strong for a long time. It would be a great bit of business but unless Ake goes in jan, id hold off until the end of the season if possible

Agree with Glasner, he's out of contract in the summer and wouldn't surprise me if he cashed in and moved to United/Liverpool/Chelsea. He's done brilliantly there.
Rico Lewis would also come good in a year or two5 centre backs of Dias/Gvardiol/Guehi/Kusanov/Reiss would leave us very strong for a long time. It would be a great bit of business but unless Ake goes in jan, id hold off until the end of the season if possible
