Well, reports have said Glasner has refused a new contract so he will be off in 6 months. Due to this he won’t hold much power now.

Maybe even go one further sign him now pay him a big signing on fee and let him stay on loan until the Summer

I'm not sure it played out entirely like that. I think Glasner was obviously very concerned by Guehi leaving but more so because they hadn't brought in a replacement. They moved late to try and bring someone in but couldn't so they called the Guehi sale off. They were linked with Akanji but he clearly would have rejected that considering he's at Inter - bigger clubs were in for him.

It's quite simple for Palace in my opinion. Sell him next month and reinvest in an attempt to help keep Glasner happy. Let him go for free in the summer, potentially struggle to finance a move for someone to replace him and watch Glasner go too.

Ultimately I think Glasner goes soon anyway, they can't match his ambition.

Yeah there was talk about him going if they outdent get a viable replacement I thought. They were trying to strike a deal for someone and it fell through. Guehi literally had his medical at Liverpool.

Agree with Glasner, he's out of contract in the summer and wouldn't surprise me if he cashed in and moved to United/Liverpool/Chelsea. He's done brilliantly there.

5 centre backs but looking at Gvardiol and Khusanov, two options who can also fill in the fullback positions if required. That, and allowing for injuries, should mean game time for everyone.

It was Igor Julio from Brighton on loan they tried to get done, but he went to West Ham instead.

I can see Glasner being the next Spuds manager. They'll throw a bit more money into things than Palace, but he'll have to deal with the rest of the car crash that is that football club.

He's just a very good cb. And he brings that goal threat we lose with Ake and Stones... Dias EVER scored from a corner? Lol.

Only concern is he is a LCB... Which means he's coming in to compete with the extremely highly regarded 23 year old already in place. I know he's right footed but cant ever remember him playing that side for club or country?
Anyway he improves us and moving forward with Dias, Josko, Khusa, one of Reis/Bah and Guehi would be brilliant
