I think it's always been true that it's very hard to sign happy players at elite clubs on hefty wages, and it has always been true that elite players moving from upper tier clubs have many suitors.True but it wasnt going to be the fee that the dippers paid? We literally bought Cherki for about 30m six months ago. Dont always have to pay a fortune.Something might pop up again in the summer. 65m seems a lot to me for someone who might reach the top. If we signed him I'd not be disappointed, but likewise I wouldn't be if he we didn't.
