7 | Omar Marmoush - 2025/26

Haaland can't and shouldn't be playing 60 games a season or we'll end up with another rodri situation. Marmoush is capable of deputising even if we have to tweak the system a bit. All the talk of him not fitting in the starting 11 is crazy. We shouldn't have a fixed 11 and we haven't until the last couple of seasons.
The best players for the biggest clubs do end up playing about 50/60 games though. If he’s fit, he’s not getting dropped.

You’d have to ask is Marmoush alright with being on the bench or only playing when haaland needs a rest?

We don’t have a fixed 11, but there are Individuals who if fit will always start.

I like Marmoush, I'm frustrated he hasn't been used more but Pep has his best XI and its pretty settled, and unfortunately Marmoush isnt in that XI

I'd rather we sold Bobb with a buy-back clause (he has talent just needs Morgan Rogers level development) than Marmoush, hes still the best replacement for Haalan when he inevitably get injured

Even if Bobb goes it doesn't give Marmoush more games, just don't think there's a place for him.

These So calls links to spurs they ask the Egyptian manager, sorry what’s sort of question is that? He is a city player and he will only leave if spurs pay us mega money none of this fake so Call bids of we could bid €70m for Savino when thee only bid was €43m for him and with how spurs has treated us id tell them to fuck off!

Egypt manager, Hossam Hassan on whether Omar Marmoush is distracted by the possibility of leaving #ManCity amid links to Tottenham: “Marmoush would be an asset for any club in Europe. I hope he stays in the Premier League.

“He’s not distracted by anything. His focus is with us, and the proof is what he showed in the first match [vs Zimbabwe]. He’ll continue to remain fully committed to the national team…” [via @ismaeelmahmoudd]
