This rating shows that something is wrong. Haaland scored 2 goals yeah but Cherki and Nunes were the far better players in this game. No respect for defenders and midfielders. Same with Foden completely irrelevant the whole game until he scored

His passing range is fantastic, but the fact is he still hasn't scored for us, and his shooting is pretty hopeless. Obviously it's not the key skill in his position, but it's quite a big draw back. I don't personally feel he's ready for that top level move. Genuinely think sticking with us for another couple of seasons, developing the attacking side of the game would be the right thing. Doubt it will happen, and if he does go, I'd wish him all the best!

I'd like Wharton. He started to run the midfield in the second half against Arsenal, meaning that Arteta had to bring Odegaard on (and Rice later) to regain some control.

Would be brilliant alongside a Rodri or Nico. Constantly breaks the lines and is difficult for the opposition to press.

He’s absolute class mate. His first time passing is exceptional as is his overall passing range. He’s also exceptional at anticipating and breaking up attacks.

Man, he's one of the best progressive passers I've seen in a long while. It's so natural to him.

Arsenal won't need him with Rice and Zubimende. Chelsea has Caicedo and Lavia, although the latter, being so injury-prone, makes me think they'll cut their losses with him. United needs him badly, but if he has smart people around him, no young player should want to go to United. It's just where talent goes to die.

I think City's interest in him will depend solely on their faith in Rodri returning to, or being close to, his former self. That said, Rodri also turns 30 in 4 or 5 months, and did have a horrible injury. And we desperately need someone to rotate with Gonzalez now. He makes a lot of sense.

Highlights videos often flatter players, but that display reminds me of Fernandinho, excellent interceptions plus sharp, line breaking first time passing.

Slightly different players with different qualities but we’ll probably need to replace Bernie and maybe also Kovacic
A lot will depend on how Rodri recovers but I suspect we’ll go big for one of them
