Does anyone know where we are with squad positions as that would put a huge spanner in signing either Wharton or Andersen in January
Yet they scored fuck all lol.Let’s just ignore his ball over the top for the Pino chance that hit the bar, him making Gonzalez look like a girl when he robbed him and went onto hit the post and the numerous times he put Sarr in with perfectly weighted through balls in the first half. Instead, let’s rely on some coloured squares with little numbers in that some silly website has come up with.
FFS mate.
Wharton was u21 on 1st January this year - therefore counts as U21 for both PL & CL so has no impact on either squad.Does anyone know where we are with squad positions as that would put a huge spanner in signing either Wharton or Andersen in January
Absolutely. Wharton strikes me as a player with enough technical ability to play for Pep and I think his coaching would help him develop further. Anderson, to me, is our next midfield colossus. He is big, strong and powerful but has the passing ability and vision to create from a deep-lying role. Of course, they are also both home-grown, another box ticked.Get both him and Anderson. Our midfield sorted for the next decade.
Can’t believe you’re still going about this. In my opinion he was the best player on the pitch, in yours he wasn’t. Lovely. Can we get on with our days now?Yet they scored fuck all lol.
I never once said he had a bad game by the way but, he wasn't the best player on the pitch that's for sure.
Ground duels won 7/15 47%
Tackles won 4/6 67%
passes final 3rd 8/15 53%
Accurate pass compilation 34/48 71%
Accurate crosses 0/2 0%
Aerial duels 2/2 100%
Pretty shit stats for supposedly the best player on the pitch.
He did ok but like I said he's no upgrade on Nico Gonzalez.
He’s not a good tackler at all. He just had a field day against our non existent midfield. Reijnders isn’t on that list because he won ONE duel in 90mins.He's a very good player, looks like he'd fit right into our side, he loves a tackle too which we lack in the centre of midfield, his range and timing of passing is excellent.
I've just realised that this is inaccurate. I forgot that for a player to be on the CL B-List they have to have been with City for 2 years. So, Wharton would impact on the CL squad. We have one CL space for either of them (or any other HG player) we have one space for a CT trained player (like Morgan Rogers!)Wharton was u21 on 1st January this year - therefore counts as U21 for both PL & CL so has no impact on either squad.
There is one place left in CL squad and two in PL squad that Anderson could take - unless the PL one is given to Phillips who was left out in September.

Just saw the name and thought I'd mention that Pino looks a good player. Palace did well signing him from Villarreal for £26m - 23 years old and 19 caps for Spain, which shows he's got something.
Thankfully not an eye for goal!Just saw the name and thought I'd mention that Pino looks a good player. Palace did well signing him from Villarreal for £26m - 23 years old and 19 caps for Spain, which shows he's got something.
Haha why bother in the fucking first place then? You don't like facts I know that. Can’t believe you’re still going about this. In my opinion he was the best player on the pitch, in yours he wasn’t. Lovely. Can we get on with our days now?
