Not possible it’s a Bank Holiday and the PL won’t be open I’m guessing it effectively opens on 2nd could be progressed on the 1st medical etc but wouldn’t be able to register him that day He would need to be signed by noon on the 2nd foe the Chelsea game

City could theoretically have medicals and sign players today, they just cant be registered until the window is open.
And I'm not sure you are correct in that players can't be registered on bank holidays, PL is not a bank and considering games are being played its hard to argue their business is in anyway closed.
 
This deal sounds so straightforward and done that Manchester City fans are playing him in our next game ?
City doesn't really do deals that are so straightforward with other Premier League clubs, do we ? Something has to pop up and delay the deal or put it in doubt

Anyway, if it's already signed and sealed, he would not play in the next game because of the rules of registration
I think the club and the player have to give 48 hours before the next game ? maybe its 24 hours

We’ve got zero options off the bench when we’re chasing a game. Only way we turn this around without a quick fix like Semenyo is if Doku is back tomorrow. Without him, we’ve got no teeth upfront.
