The Premier League has always struggled for left footed players generally. Left backs more than anything. When I was young and was quite good, I was completely right footed. At the age of 13-14, I decided to start playing football with only my left during training. It benefited me a lot from game play but I did not know how to avoid tackles to my left ankle. There was a graphic I saw recently with the most two footed players in the PL this season.
Cherki was number 1.
Gvardiol was number 3.
Semenyo was 4
Guéhi was 5
Makes you wonder if Pep has seen Arsenal overtake us in the left footed player tables, and is looking to take it to the next level.
