Antoine Semenyo | Prefers to join City - Ornstein (p73)

You are missing the point, you said Bournemouth won't release him until after the next 2 games. It simply isn't Bournemouths decision to make ,it's City and Semenyo that make that decision.Bournemouth have no say unless we agree to wait ,we might we might not.
At the end of last night's game against Chelsea he looked like he had played his last game saying goodbye to the fans and players

I get what you're saying. Just doesn't make sense to me spend £65million for someone that's only gonna play once a week for about 15 minutes
Well we have another 20 league games to play, potential 11 champions league games if we reach the final, fa cup ? League cup 3 games, so I don’t know where you get this notion of one game per week, we need a squad to cope with injuries, fatigue and loss of form.

i cant be arse but last seasons goals that got us to cl football because lets face it we were miles off were flukes
if i could be really arsed id look back through your post but cant be arsed your just wind up or maybe wasted in day job

Saying it as I see it. I agree that he was able to hit the ground running last season and his goals helped us get CL football. For that reason I wouldn't class him as a bad buy. I just don't see where he will get any meaningful gametime going forward unless Haaland gets a serious injury and even then I wouldn't be surprised if other players are preferred.

No idea just don’t think we have any issues on profit and sustainability front wages maybe squad spots possibly.

It also possible a combination of one or more of Bobb, Marmoush, Savinho, Ake will leave on loan or permanently

Our wage bill is definitely one of the highest in the league, based on our recent accounts (in which we made an operating loss for the first time in years) - which I’d imagine is behind the noise we’re making about having to sell to buy.

We have four senior keepers on the books, and players like Grealish and Akanji still on the wage bill who don’t even play for us anymore - clearly that’s not sustainable.

Add to that our squad list is currently at its limit for non-homegrown players.

Although it seems pretty clear that Bernardo and Ortega will both be leaving from that list in the summer, that doesn’t help us right now - and neither Bobb nor Ake leaving helps us either.

Semenyo is on (relatively) sensible wages, and qualifies as homegrown - which, alongside his clear talent and demonstrated quality in this League, will be part of the reason he’s so attractive to us.

Not if City decide to trigger the reported clause. When they do, that's that, whether it's on the 1st or the 9th.

So if he ends up playing against Arsenal, it's because both clubs have agreed it.

The premier league buyouts are different to Spain in Spain you contact the league and pay it through them in premier you contact the club and still can negotiate a pay structure so they can hold out till the 10th..

As a Sterling replacement, getting in at the back post and tapping it in, I think he will be brilliant. I think Savio will be the far better player in a few years.

I think Semenyo will offer far more thatn that. You never really know with any transfer how it will pan out though.

I hope Savinho does come good, especially if he is still with us. I don't see it at the moment. I think he's miles off what we need currently.

Totally bizarre situation. If this is true then I think it shows we’re no nearer signing him than the dippers or any other team.
Bizarre? Behave.

It happens all the time in football. Remember when De Bruyne played his last game for Wolfsburg and less then 36 hours later he was a City player.

This deal is done.

I've been looking at Dua Lipa
