Seat Counters 25/26

Yes going to be a really interesting seat count this one. Especially with members being able to buy 2 extra.

Seem to recall when we had extras criteria for members for the Charity Shield v Arsenal (the boycotted one), they seemed to fly off the shelf and I think we sold out.

Will be a good test to see how strong our membership support really is once restrictions are loosened.
All adds to the theatre of it. Blocks disappearing and reaappearing; season ticket holders and members allowed to buy extras - this one may be an underrated gem

Would all the seat counters please make their predictions be known before the count begins.

Sort the wheat from the chaff, if you will. There have been some very accurate and some wildly inaccurate predictions in years gone by.

Didsbury Dave has gone early with a rather conservative estimate of 30,000.

Any other takers?

If you think that's conservative I'll do you one better and say 25,000.

The potential of 3 Wembley trips in a couple of months is no laughing matter for a seat counter, and unfortunately I think this game will be the one that people decide to miss.

Very pessimistic, hopefully I'm proven wrong.

Whoever gets the closest on this one is crowned as Counter of the Season.

I have faith in our much maligned membership. Saturday evening watching the sun go down over the Wembley Arch. 33,350 sell out!

Yep, they will fuck this one up big style.

Theres no risk of any tickets going to away fans. There’s absolutely no reason whatsoever why they don’t just put the tickets immediately on open sale. None. If they did that they’d sell 35k, get people there who’ve never been to Wembley, and I suspect it would lead to a great atmosphere too as vocal fans would be on the top tier as well s the bottom.

They won’t do it. Your prediction will definitely come true. They’ll base the criteria on the high demand for the Arsenal game and won’t factor in that this game will not have the same demand. With a week to go there will be 10,000 left unsold and it will be too late to sell them.
Tickets on open sale straight away.
That will work wonders with the fans on the cup schemes who have purchased every tie so far.

There's a few Grandad's on here that should heed your Grandad's advice
Totally agree
My grandson is sixteen and been to every Wembley trip (except covid) since he was 5 years old.
Proper memories made most of them happy ones except defeats to Rags.
My plans are once he's 17 he can drive me there and back.Thats if we qualify (never take Wembley trips for granted) CTID
