He is a brilliant young player and imo has a bright future with us. Every time he comes on he is replacing Rodri and is therefore immediately under the microscope. He is not Rodri but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a great player.
Get off his back and support him. Like it or not he is likely to be Rodri’s long-term replacement.

He will never have a better chance to prove himself than he had earlier this season. He did ok in what was a complete mess of a midfield at the time but he clearly didn’t impress Pep too much because he has disappeared. Not quite to Rico Lewis levels but not that far behind. We have already seen that not too many players come back from that with Pep.
