I am an Osc member,go to all the home games in the cup schemes and always get my own tickets for awaysDon’t really understand your post. I am a SC holder and do go to all home games, but don’t feel the need to post about it on here other than to offer an opinion on a matter such as in this thread.
I did and do, that hardly outstrips many years of being an ST. I just choose to sit in different seats to mix up for cup games, my pref!..or alternatively meant that those who bothered their arses turning up for games against Salford and Burton would be rewarded for doing so.
Yep but you can still build in preference for longetr term loyalty. Wtf should some johnny come Lately, joiThis is not how modern football clubs think. They need to grow their support globally and do so quickly. If you just have a system that those who have attended most have priority over everyone else then those down the pecking order get disillusioned. Some of your newer fans will disappear in that case. It’s why there are Cup Schemes, Platinum and the OSC, to keep fans committed.
Couldn't give a stuff what Kevin Parker or anyone else in "elevated" fan respresentation postions tink. He is one fan like me and has his opinion, I have mine.Kevin Parker would dispute this......you are talking about the supporters club, right? ;-)
I'm not anti OSC, Tim. I'm just anti unfair ticket allocation!Remember the first anti supporters club campaign on here and it turned out the leader ran a Bramch lol
Respects mate , majority of the newer fans have no fucking idea about the pre glory days and the commitment following some of the shite served up by City back in the day .For 50 years mate.
Most of the posters on here are genuinely against the ticket allocation system. Fairs dos. I’ve only had an issue with the minority of posters whose opposition to the OSC is based on personalities and / or ideology.I'm not anti OSC, Tim. I'm just anti unfair ticket allocation!
In fairness, 50 years match going support is worthy and it’s about the average on here. A lot of us have been going since the mid 70s if not before.Respects mate , majority of the newer fans have no fucking idea about the pre glory days and the commitment following some of the shite served up by City back in the day .
I’ve not seen opposition to OSCs other than in regards to ticketing - maybe there is some? But most of the opinions seem pretty level headed. Most of the posters on here are genuinely against the ticket allocation system. Fairs dos. Glad to hear that there are affordable safe standing tickets on saleI’ve not seen opposition to OSCs other than in regards to ticketing - maybe there is some? But most of the opinions seem pretty level headed.
I remember the same happened for the Istanbul final where OSC members were getting tickets despite not having ST or attending CL games that year.
Makes you wonder what all the bloody moaning was all about. Up the piss-boiling-low-pointing-pick-and-choose-games-as-they-please-far-flung-UK-or-overseas-OSC-blues…Glad to hear that there are affordable safe standing tickets on sale
Completely agree , been doing it for fifty six years . What gets on my nerves is the ones who have known nothing but success and expect a pat on the back for following us home and away , try doing it when we get beat every week then come back and compare notes .In fairness, 50 years match going support is worthy and it’s about the average on here. A lot of us have been going since the mid 70s if not before.
Not to worry as when Pep leaves we won’t be going there as regularly ;-)So where do the new 4000 FG season ticket holders next season who add the cup schemes to their FG season tickets fit in to the Wembley semi-fimal and final tickets pecking order? Wembley tickets are going to get harder to get for a lot of City fans from next season onwards.
Great post mate.Completely agree , been doing it for fifty six years . What gets on my nerves is the ones who have known nothing but success and expect a pat on the back for following us home and away , try doing it when we get beat every week then come back and compare notes .
City were there 8 times in the six seasons before Guardiola arrived! Not to worry as when Pep leaves we won’t be going there as regularly ;-)
I’ll await the grovelling apology from the fan-group-1894-City-Matters-Superbia-in-Proelio herbertsConsidering tickets are going to members it’s a good job the OSC sold what they did! Plus I’d rather them shift them than Viagogo
Why ?I’ll await the grovelling apology from the fan-group-1894-City-Matters-Superbia-in-Proelio herberts
