I thought so too. But a quick Google search of the last few seasons reveals that the last few home kits were officially released on 13th/14th May. But the 22/23 and 23/24 home kits were released on 19th May. So this year isn't much different.

Whereas a rag/dipper/tarquin kit would make Scarlett Johansson look like Rosanne Barr.
