City Kits - 2026/27

It’s clearly not an all blue kit.

The shorts are white with an ever so slight tint to blend in with the faded look of the shirt. You won’t even be able to tell they have a blue tint unless you’re right up close.

Just look at the actual blue markings on the shorts compared to the actual main body of the shorts themselves.

It was the description of ‘ baby blue’ that puzzles me. So it’s white a tinge of blue.

Exactly.

Why aren’t people arsed that our home kit hasn’t got our actual badge.

It’s bad enough on away or 3rd kits but not to have the official badge and colours on a home kit is scandalous imo.
Can’t say why but I ‘m not that arsed, think it looks okay.

PUMA exec1: shall we have white shorts this year, or is it time for blue ones again?

PUMA exec2: no idea, I can't keep track of it....

PUMA exec 3: I have a cunning plan...

(Personally think the palest colour will be a bit closer to white than this mock-up).

It'll definitely be much closer to white than that, yeah. The socks look sky blue on the mock - up, but they will pretty much look white. At least from distance.

And this image has the back of the shirt without the fade. I guess if the numbers are going to be white this would help them be seen, might not stand out much if it was faded.

That makes sense, but sort of ruins the gradual fade effect they're going for. As does the sky blue band and triangles on the top of the shorts. Rodri tucks his shorts in as we know, so no fade effect there. All a bit of a mess and rather insipid, especially without the proper badge.

I mentioned a few pages ago that Puma tend to add random flashes of colour when they’re not needed.

Simplicity is often better, but manufacturers seem afraid to keep kits simple.

I like that. If I didn’t like it though I’d take a long hard look at myself in the mirror and realise it’s a kit, and there are far more serious things in life to get angry about.

Yeah it's just come back to me, but I think actually the PL has a law about backs of shirts being a solid colour for visibility of the number/name. Would be very odd for this shirt to have dark numbers though, surely they'll be white.

Ironically, the rumour is that Coventry will be wearing sky blue and white stripes next season. A lot of their fans aren't happy. They sometimes have white or even navy stripes on their kits. It's their version of 'blue shorts' and their purists hate it.

Just hope they have the brown away kit again….

Hate it. At this moment I cant think of a worse home kit then this.
This season's bayern munich shirt waves hello

However if you're only talking of us and in the very recent past, then that thing from a couple of years ago with the shrek neck and that horrendous Nike effort with the dark blue sleeves

Nike dark blue sleeves, purple on the 19/20 home kit, the “mosaic” bathroom tiles shirt.. all worse than this new one.

It’s blue, the shorts and socks look white anyway.

Meh.

Fucking shite. Always white shorts ffs.
I think they will definitely look white from the stands and on TV, but up close will have a subtle tint of blue. So they should just about keep white shorts fans happy. However, the socks will look white too, so that might be an issue for some.

Some news on GK kits for next season as Dortmund have released 2 of theirs for this year which will likely be the exact same as ours except with different colour schemes. These are...intense (and I actually like them as someone who loves 90s GK kits)

Think next season is the 40th anniversary of them winning the cup in a striped kit, so probably linked to that
