Guy Ritchie's new film. Good cast but just didn't deliver. It all felt a bit childish. Wasn't complicated to follow, but it was needlessly complicated in its execution . . . .if that makes any sense.

It was all bit weak and hollow.

Also watched it today with my lad. Nice full circle moment for me as I was taken to see the 80's version as a kid. I really enjoyed it, didn't take itself too seriously at all. Good fun.

Loved that film. Great soundtrack too with Wagner (Parsifal, Tristan etc) and Orff’s “O Fortuna” adding real atmosphere. Can’t believe it’s 45 years old.

It is shite but Brett Goldstein (the random Brit) isn't that random - wrote, produced and been in Ted Lasso, Shrinking and a few other successful series over the past couple of years. Has made quite a big name for himself in the US.
