Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

Its clear players are gonna start asking for release clauses or run down contracts more often because so many players will price themselves out of a future move earlier if they keep signing new contracts. More so for the players who truly believe they can make the top, the ones who dont will sign any guaranteed money put in front of them

Get all 3 and the midfield is set for the decade stress free.

Fernandes looks doable at like 65m (Westham know they won't get the 80m asking).

Wharton I can see attainable at 75m (they know they won't get 100m).

And Anderson I think will happen at around 110m (down from 120m).

260m for a complete future midfield rebuild for a decade seems a good deal.

Not against that, but would need at leat 2 of Reindeers ,Kovacic, and Gonzalez to leave doubt all 3 leave this summer, might happen ,but with all 3 at the world cup maybe not in time for us to get Wharton and Fernades as well as Anderson.

Yes it would require outgoings, but new manager, might as well get him new players and set him off properly.

Reijnders is a 10, he has failed as an 8 imo. Having watched him for the Netherlands as the 10, in which he looked decent, I have no idea why he thinks he can play the 8, he can't.

But we also have no space with him at 10 with Cherki and Foden, based on how I see our options. So sell for ours and his best interests.

Kovacic is nice to keep, but if we sign starters and relegate him to pure backup, and he accepts then fine. Otherwise sell.

Nico G seemingly wants to leave, so this is an easy sell.

There is space imo and I think more midfield is leaving than I anticipated, I even didnt consider if Rodri goes to Real Madrid.

Quite clear Tonali is going to move and they won’t get 100. If they attempt to be too greedy with the premier league clubs they’ll end up getting 65-70 tops from Italy.

They are all defensive mids, wheres the creativity????????? You cant win anything with 3 holding mids. At least one has to be creative, look at our problems when we have nothing through the middle

Im specifically talking about centre midfielders only to replace the other centre midfielders (Kova, Nico G, and Rodri eventually).

We already have Cherki, Foden and Reijnders as 10s.
