Did that Regi Blinker guy play or am I barking up the wrong tree, I remember they had quite a few lads with dreadlocks.

I remember being at the game but my memory of who played is a bit vague.

Yeah that rings a bell for me too! Im sure there were at least 2 penalties Curle scoring one and some lad for them wearing one. Dont remember Larsson though but what a player he was on his day

Yeah , from what bit i can dig up on the game it would appear that two Keith Curle penalties gave us a 2-0 half time lead ...... somehow we then conceded four in the 2nd half to lose the game!

No mate, don't think Van Hooijdonk played. He was at Celtic by that time, or if not it would have been NAC Breda, which is where Celtic got him from. He did play for Feynoord in the end, but I think that was in the Naughties at some point, though I could be wrong.

Can anyone confirm the date and year of this friendly and scorers? I think it was 4-2...The reason I ask is that was my first game at Maine Road but cant really remember it!!
