Yep America is big. My son and I flew from Dallas, TX to North Carolina to watch them play.

City v Barcelona Post Match Thread

After watching him last night I think it's apparent he's just really bad at DM in Pep's system. He can't do the things he needs to do. I thought he seemed decent at CB especially considering he rarely if ever plays there.

Not sure how he'd do against better competition, but I thought he was better as a CB than he is as a DM. He's much better facing the opposition and moving forward.

Josko not up to speed tonight.

This is exactly what was posted in a video someone put up about him. Very poor receiving the ball with his back to the opposition. Rodri does this multiple times in dangerous positions every game and very rarely ever makes a mistake.

City v AC Milan post match thread

Yep, I'm afraid the experiment is over. We may need to just eat what we owe him, sell him, or whatever we can do that is least painful. But he must go.

    Ederson

Jealous? Maybe, that's just human nature. Extremely pissed off his teammate made a great play to help bring his team a championship? That's crazy.

    Ederson

Surely we have to bring in someone to spell Rodri! This will burn us this year if not rectified.

Manchester City v AC Milan, Saturday July 27th, @ New York, Pre Match Thread

I think he might've had one last chance in Pep's mind. His performance was so bad against Celtic that Pep benched him at halftime. I think he might just be done with him and tell the board they're just going to have to eat his contract and sell him.

I'm sure that was all about liability. They didn't want to be responsible. Literally 30 min outside then we were back in our seats. Could've been a lot worse.

    At least 75% City.

Manchester City v Celtic post match thread

There are 2.4 million people in the metro area. It's plenty big. I don't think some college students being home for the summer had any effect at all. It was actually a great time and was very cool to see thousands of people walking around in City apparel for a couple days.

I was there last night. 80% City fans. They did surprise me how many they had though. Who the hell follows Celtic from the US? Not even sure they’re on TV much other than CL.

City's pre-season tour in the US

The fact that we have extremely limited opportunities to see them in person makes this ok. Do I wish all the starters and stars were there? Of course, but still get to see them in person, see Pep, Haaland, and Grealish, along with some other up and comers. I'm very excited to see them! Flying...

I'm going to the first game so that's a bummer. Still be great to see the team and Pep live.

    Harry Kane

I did. I'm just saying to suggest he's done as a striker after having the season he did might be a bit premature.
