    James McAtee

Being honest I don’t expect he’ll return to us. We’ll likely be starved of possession next season, especially if Iliman NDiaye leaves as is rumoured, and I’m not sure that is the best ‘next step’ for his development. I could see Tommy Doyle coming back to us though and I think he’d be integral...

Tommy Doyle | Signs for Wolves | will be confirmed Jul 1st

Tommy won our Goal of the Season award last night for his screamer against Blackburn to put us into the FA cup semi-final.

    James McAtee

James won our Young Player of the Season award last night. He’s been a joy to watch, especially in the last 3 months since he fully displaced John Fleck. His ability to beat players so easily and break down a stubborn defence has been invaluable in the close games we’ve been winning over the...

Sheffield United (N) | FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

Not at all, I’d seen it in a few places yours just happened to be the last one that mentioned the crowd when I had a look at the thread. I’d love to see them both stay but it wouldn’t surprise me if your development team place McAtee elsewhere. He’s come on leaps and bounds this season...

I agree, sunshine, drugs and alcohol bring out the worst in some football fans. This has also been called out as unacceptable on our forum this morning and ruined the day of quite a few of our young fans experiencing Wembley for the first time. I do think it’s a growing concern across football...

Sheffield United (N) | FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

I think the attendance was 69,000 but that included neutrals. We were saying on the way home it could easily have been played at St James’, Old Trafford or Anfield. Even though we aren’t in it Wembley should be saved for finals only.

Sheffield United (N) | FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

We’ve been in semi finals in 2015, 2014, two in 2003, 1999 and 1993. I think the bigger thing for our fans was we lost all 6 of those and had less realistic chance yesterday than in any of those. Throw in 4 playoff final defeats and some of our fans just don’t go to these sort of games anymore...

Sheffield United (N) | FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

I have been reading this forum for a while, mainly to see City fans thoughts on how Doyle and McAtee are developing with us (both tremendously by the way) but thought as an SUFC fan would offer an alternative opinion on why we didn’t sell out. The first obvious one is the cost. We have a core...
