    19 | Ilkay Gundogan - 2024/25

It's still early, but he's looked like a player for whom Barca was fine with using their shameful media barrage to force a player out. I really don't know why McAtee/Nunes couldn't have come on for him. Bernardo, too.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2024/25

He tired out Timber for Jack ;) In all seriousness, they doubled down on him every time, and the option of passing for him was Akanji, which Arsenal wasn't concerned about.

    Arsenal (H) | PL | Post-match Thread

What do you think they could do? Go for the win and, in all likelihood, not get a single point? We're the best team in the world. Defending like that is the only option.

    2 | Kyle Walker - 2024/25

I knew people would come to his defence after playing better in the second half versus a team with ten men. Who cares about that half of play when we're more or less losing because of him? You can point to so many goals over the last year that he's the main culprit. He's always relied on his...

I think they did. Raya obviously made some excellent saves, but that's to be expected. To not give us a clear-cut chance for 50-plus minutes is impressive.

    16 | Rodri 2024/25

I don't remember dread being painted across his face during that incident as it was today. It seemed clear to me that he knew something was seriously wrong. I hope I'm dead wrong, obviously.

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

Especially when they were down a man, he definitely had a poor day in the office.

That's news to me. When has Rodri EVER come off and not been actually injured??

Hate those fuckers, but you have to give them credit for how they've exploited this 'loophole' of sorts. The FA has to step in, or the defending team has to be allowed to be physical as hell and not let them get near their keeper.

They defended brilliantly, to be fair.

It was literally the consensus up until the end. Let's not re-write history because we grabbed a point at the end.

Their fans make Liverpool fans seem genuinely likeable. They are an insufferable bunch of the highest order.

I can’t fault the players’ effort today. Still, Pep and his staff’s team selection and in-game adjustments were... not good. Starting Walker when he’s been a genuine liability since last year and somehow even more shambolic in the games he’s played thus far this season is inexcusable for me...

    16 | Rodri 2024/25

I'm far more concerned about him than I am about the result today. Someone I follow on twitter said you can see a ripple behind his knee in slo-mo. I fear the worst. Ugh.

    2 | Kyle Walker - 2024/25

Who would have thought that starting a player who cost us in multiple big games last year and was overall a mile off it and yet somehow managed to look even more shambolic early in this season would be a disastrous decision? Not Pep, apparently.

Careful. Some on here will call you this, that, and the other for even suggesting as much.

    Media discussion - 2024/25

Sorry if this is the wrong place. I saw some discussion surrounding the penalty given to Madrid today, and I was curious if others knew that these are supposed to be given as penalties. He's clearly outside the box, but the reasoning I saw was that he's fouling Endrick at his waist. He's...

Are Kudus, Neto, and Nkunku not speedy? Do we remember what Sterling did to Walker last year?
