    Brazil V South Africa

The South African defense is tenacious, to say the least. Brazil is outnumbered by a large margin in the penalty area. There are virtually no shooting lanes.

    get ready to die laughing

A few years back I was watching an interview with him about his personal life. They asked what his hobbies were outside of football. And in his little fairy voice he said, " Oh I like horses, poetry and most of all singing," flicking his wrist about the entire time. He then proceeds to break...

"Robinho going NOWHERE" Garry Cook [Merged]

Thanks for the update! It is awesome that our board is so responsive to crap journalism. Quite a refreshing change!

    Tevez [Merged]

Winks and half smiles are great to keep the conversation going on here. But I won't believe a thing until I see the player holding a blue shirt.

    Worst city player of 2009

Ben-Haim. Jo was not that bad. His attitude was though. I think he had some trouble adjusting to the Prem as well as having to deal with a language and culture barrier. Maybe I am giving him too much slack, but I've always liked Jo and was glad to see him do well, even if it was at another club.

    Top Man Nedum

Agreed. He did very well this past season, and got hung out to dry buy Dunne a few too many times for my liking. It will be great to see him grow into a world class player.

It will be nice to have options up front, but I am not convinced that he is any where near as good as he is hyped up to be.

That is awesome. I wish I had been there... Sadly there are a few thousand more miles to ride my bicycle until I arrive.

    Richard Dunne.

I think Dunne would be a great bench player. He knows the prem and many of the offensive opponents. He can help out the young defenders and give a solid performance as a substitute, if needed. While I agree that he is not world class, and we need that level of player, I would be very sad to...

    Our New Shirts

Of we got some white a blue instead of that gaudy gold trim on the black kits, I think they would be glorious. The Home and 3rd look great as is.

Have we got /ever had any other berti-like 'legends'?

Some of my friends and I have a special place in our hearts for Kiki Musampa.

Unlikely fan but a true one.

I feel your pain, my friend. Although, in Austin (Texas) there are around 7 City fans. Every time we go to the Pub to watch the Derby (they don't show that one on regular TV here) there are 100 or more red shirts. Last season was the best, though, when we got them twice. The look on their...

How many City fans live outside of the North West?

Austin, Texas, USA. City was one of the first prem games I had ever seen when they started broadcasting the games over here for the first time on Cable. Loved the fans, loved the team. They had just come up from Div. 1. Been a fan ever since.

    first signing.....

    Kiki Musampa!

    Forlan

well we know he can score in Spain, but can he do it in the prem? I think we would be better suited with any number of other strikers who have the advantage of being younger, faster, and frankly better than Forlan.
