I don't think you understand. This isn't about your valuations of the players. It's about how much a buying club will have to pay Everton to acquire those players if they were to leave. Would I value Martial at £36m? Mangala at £32m? Absolutely not. But that's what United and you had to pay...

    Need another world class defender......

I'll admit I haven't, but I have seen you attacking. Good luck anyway, should be a good game.

    Need another world class defender......

Problem is it took us the entire game to score. Like I said, we can dominate games frequently but we do not go for the throat. Given that we're really missing Jagielka and McCarthy for defence, you're guaranteed to score. It's whether we feel like scoring too.

    Lukaku

I'm in absolute shock that you think a single one of those three will go for less than fifty million with Everton being the sellers. We rejected £38m for Stones. After the Euro's, he's going to be 50m+. No question. We bought Lukaku for nearly 30m. For the player he's becoming, do you really...

    Need another world class defender......

Overall, yeah, but Martinez has his flaws. For whatever reason, he flat out refuses to drop Howard and it's doing everyone's nut. We have a perfectly good, young goalie in Joel, who has been brilliant every time he's played, but he can't get a game. It's even more annoying that Martinez signed...

    Need another world class defender......

I really can't see him leaving in January. Martinez isn't a fan of buying or selling halfway through the season and he's already come out and said nobody will be leaving. Unless you come in with scary money, it won't happen. Summer is iffy. Again, the right bid could make it happen. I think...

    Need another world class defender......

He's the most composed centre back I've seen. Ever. In any league. He could have the ball on the goal line and he'd dribble it past two players before passing it forwards, without a single nerve or care in the world. That's not to say he doesn't know when it needs to go straight to row Z, though.

    Lukaku

Stones = 50m+ Lukaku = 50m+ Barkley = 50m+ Now I don't mind you mancs, I'm sure you can do basic math. Add that up and you get...?

    Need another world class defender......

It won't happen in January. And your opinion is based off what, watching a couple of Everton games when they're on TV playing City? He's going to be the best in the world. There's no doubt about it. He's already one of the best in the league. He's second to none with regards to ball control...

    Lukaku

I don't quite understand your logic here. It's like saying "if we could swap Bony for Messi..." Why would Everton accept Nasri, Bony and Mangala as payment for what is essentially £150m+ worth of talent? Absolutely not. This, basically. You aren't going to get Lukaku for less than £50m...

    Ross Barkley

Funny, because Ross is the most two-footed player I can name. I'd say that's his greatest strength. He broke his leg and for over a year only played with his left. Watch a few of his goals, he uses both feet.

    Ross Barkley

Thought I'd have a read to see if you lot are still crazy insistent about how you're signing Ross for pennies in the summer, deal nailed on, etc. Oh really? Know something I don't? This summarises it up very well. Everton have been dreadful this season for reasons only the team know (I've...

    Ross Barkley

Oh you did, did you? Did you also have a meeting with JFK today? Come on lad. Don't even try it. As I have already said, the fact that there hasn't been one single story about it in any news source is proof enough that it isn't true. The "local press" didn't want to release this story, yet...

    Ross Barkley

That's exactly the way that it works. You don't know anything about Barkley. He's similar to Gerrard in some respects; scouse, at the club he supports etc. He's still got a huge amount of developing to do and he knows that if he hops off to City a la Rodwell, he isn't going to make it. Hell...

    Ross Barkley

That's unfortunate then, mate. I'm sure there are other players you can afford.
  17. E

    Ross Barkley

That's cute that you're so considerate mate, but unfortunately it doesn't matter what you think is fair. Everton want £60m and that's what you'll have to offer. As I've said before, Ross' value is only going to increase and Everton don't need to sell. Ross isn't injury prone. He had his leg...

    Ross Barkley

I'd like to think I know about the chairman of the football club I support better than you do, but you seem to know him really well. You must be an acquaintance of his. I personally only know two people who can give me reliable information about the club, so as you know Kenwright in person, I'll...

    Ross Barkley

Nope mate, still stands that the club have every intention of using FFP to price you guys out of the move and Ross isn't fussed about moving here anyway.

    I said English talent, mate!
