A bit before my time, but from what I've picked up I think he was a much greater coach than he was ever given credit for. Brought a new level of fitness and introduced many of the scientific approaches used nowadays. Sorry to see him pass away. Hope there is a good send off for him today.

We won the game. Second in the league. We beat Chelsea the previous game. I think Mancini is doing a good job. The win against Chelsea was especially important in my view. We probably have the best squad when all are fit. So I can't wait for the next game whether all are fit or not.

Agree with last poster and hope that is the way it turns out. Bit concerned though. Although Platt had reasonable playing career, his managerial career to date is poor (especially pewriod at Notts Forest). If being here can help Mancini and his team so be it. Sounds a bit risky to me though.
