After a bad week or so for NDJ I also spotted the 31/1 anytime scorer bet with Betfair. All midfielders have to score eventually and it would be a media headline grabber if Nige hits the net today.

I will only put a tenner on so I dont spoil the odds for you all!
 
De Jong has been high odds to score on Betfair for a while now, and like you say it has to happen sometime. I didn't realise until I saw that Ajax video how good he is in the air. The bookies have him at about 8 or 9 to 1 which is stupidly low (Stan James go 7/1 which is laughable) but this would be the perfect time to score his first.

I had a couple of quid on him as first goalscorer in the World Cup final. He was 130/1 on Betfair which I thought was frankly ludicrously high, especially as he's scored a few for Holland.

Ok just seen its only one for Holland, thought it was more than that. The Ajax record wasn't bad though although I know he played a different position there.

Minute I put a bet on - always goes tits up! So no way! I'd need to put the money on Blackpool and there's no way I'm doing that.
