The latest on my feed atm is a video of Allofs and the presenter having an argument with rumours that the presenter told De Bruyne what to say. This transfer is getting more ridiculous by the hour. But anyway I will leave you guys in peace, I'm meant to be on holiday!

I want him to play for us next season, what happens after that is for next summer.

At the start of the summer, I'd have said yes take £50M. But we look good so this season and add a firing, motivated De Bruyne and we can do big things. Have to remember we were midtable only 2 years ago, even to be challenging Bayern and being in the CL is massive

Ofcourse, we know he will probably go next year, I'm surprised he is staying this year. But would you rather take say £80M for Aguero this year and sell him a season later, or sell him for £60/65M the season after and have a whole year to plan for a replacement etc

Well the money isn't needed at all, CL qualification for the first time in a while is £20m coming in and him helping us get back into the CL and maybe getting to the QF this year will more than cancel out the potential loss by selling next year

Something tells me this isn't all over yet. Although I am over the moon! And if it's any consolation I'm not sure you guys need him. Get Otamendi in and you'll win the league regardless

I don't know if the accepted bid report is true but if it is then it seems tasteless from us to accept a bid when Kevin has gone to deal with a family issue

Couple more bits for you guys. Hecking has denied knowledge of a bid, that is from WAZ a local Wolfsburg paper. And De Bruyne's agent saying his trip to Belgium is 100% family reasons and not for negotiations, but I cannot confirm the validity of that quote

I think tweeting that Wolfsburg are a better club at the moment than Newcastle didn't help :P

My thoughts too, I'm hoping he will stay because I think we have a real chance to challenge Bayern and shock some teams in the CL with him this season. But if he was staying then I think he would have come out and said he is and Wolfsburg would have rejected the bid outright
