    The Title Race 2022/23

I can't see you dropping another point this season even though it's possible.

    Premier League Games 29/30 April & 1/May

No idea who we play, I do think we'll win it though as long as we haven't picked up and injuries today. My biggest worry is Saka up against Dan Burn.

    Newcastle Thread - 2022/23

Newcastle have qualified for European football today as we can no longer finish lower than 7th because of other teams having to play each other. This season has been beyond anything any of our fans could have hoped for and it can still get better, so much better. It’s unlikely but we can still...

Ashley couldn't/wouldn't compete so would do anything he could to try and hold others back, it's all he had.

    Relegation Fight - 2022/23

Southampton played well during the first half today but they're gone, They'll probably be joined by Leeds and whoever loses tomorrow if either team lose.

That's bad as I would have hoped that it was the opinion of a kid rather than somebody older, he was clearly a lazy moron.

Unfortunately, every set of fans have their pricks amongst them and we’re no exception. Out of interest, do you remember which forum it was?

    Everton Thread - 2022/23

Can they afford to finish it if they get relegated? They spent £148m on their new stadium in 2021/22 according to that year’s accounts, I doubt they could do that in the Championship. I don't know how and when they pay for it but I would guess that they have staged payments due on completion of...

    Newcastle Thread - 2022/23

I think the time wasting will go as we bring in better players. We don't do it as much as some people claim and I think we only do it because we generally try to play a high tempo game with so few decent players. We need to take a few minutes from time to time to recover. We don't and can't...

    Everton Thread - 2022/23

Relegation probably causes you massive problems for so many reasons because your club has been so badly run and that’s not me trying to be a smart arse as we (Newcastle) were run like that but probably not as badly under Ashley. At least that arse didn’t cripple us with debt although I’m sure it...

Some of the kits have been on sale recently so you could get them a bit cheaper than they have been up until recently. Re the cockneys, we'll do our best and the atmosphere should be electric which probably means that they bottle it.

We've got a game in hand on Arsenal and we have to play them at home, win those two games and we're within 7 points of them which would be incredible.

He's actually 16th when it comes to fouls per 90 minutes and most of his fouls are because of where he's coming from to make the tackle. He rarely fouls when coming in from the front but is very often coming back to recover and it’s usually because somebody else hasn't even tried to tackle.

I agree and we need to make sure that we have a good plan in place and not try to go for broke too soon. Build on sand and it will possibly fall apart. Put solid foundations in place and it can and probably will become sustainable.

    Newcastle Thread - 2022/23

This is in reply to a post in the matchday thread To be honest, I am enjoying what is happening, at the same time I think we're all in a state of disbelief at what is happening. Our rise in 18 months has been off the scale and my only hope is that we can keep on going, nothing suggests that it...

I don't understand where the animosity comes from. I’ve been to Everton a few times and had no problems with the fans other than when grown men tried to attack my son. I doubt it had anything to do with fans booing Speed even though I don’t think that should have happened but fans have to make...

Premier League (midweek) Games 25/26/27 April '23

I thought we (Newcastle) played really well tonight considering the atmosphere at the start of the game. The first part of the job was to silence the crowd and we did that. Newcastle and Everton don’t get on for some reason. I’ve never liked them since going to their ground and passing some of...
