    Manchester United (H) - Pre-Match Thread

Couple of things I think are important for today: Play Rodri as the 6 with Dave and De Bruyne at the 8's. Pep, don't try shoehorning Gundo into the 8 because that isn't what he is. Stick with Angelino at Left Back. James is fucking fast, and sharp with his movements, and I don't want to see a...

    Burnley (A) Post Match Thread

Hi everyone, I'm posting this here because I'm new and haven't yet got posting privileges, but this is a tactical analysis of City/Burnley so it's the perfect pre-derby reading. Pretty good read in my opinion if you're interested in tactics. Just gonna drop it here so if you're interested feel...

Guardiola rules out any January signings.

We'll see how this goes. Tbh, January signing probably wouldn't hit the ground running, so maybe just wait until Feb for Laporte to come back and then take a run at the UCL.

    John Stones - 2019/20 Performances

I do think Stones has all the tools in terms of technical and defending ability to go right to the top. Without sounding too simple, I attribute his (stagnant?) growth to his mentality. I just wanna see him be a little more urgent...bit more assertive...show a bit of aggression. I love him and...

    #47 | Phil Foden - 2019/20 Performances

I was talking to one of my uni lecturers who is a writer at the Times, and he is buzzing about Foden. Doesn't doubt the potential. Referred to him as "The best of his generation". We've got a genuinely special talent, let's just see if he gets the minutes.

    Angelino - 2019/20 Performances

Has the tools to be a steal at the price we got him, and could potentially overcome Zinny imo. Quicker, more technically skilled, and if he hones his actual defending skills over the next couple of years would be our premier full back imo. If Zinny's our best defensive LB then Angelino is our...

    Rodri - 2019/20 Performances

Never really doubted this guy. Seen some people laying into him on Twitter but he's the absolute personification of a Pep player; very much in the mould of Busquets. Burnley game was his best yet and I'm excited to see him going forward.

Liverpool pay City £1 million in "spy" settlement for hacking - biggest PL scandal

I feel this has been somewhat underreported? Like it's a pretty big deal and I don't think it's got the coverage it deserves.

    Manchester United (H) - Pre-Match Thread

I'd be gutted. The Gundo/Rodri pivot just doesn't work. What's the point in having 60-70% possession if you play with two number 6s?

    Manchester United (H) - Pre-Match Thread

Keep the same lineup as last game, only changes I'd be okay with seeing are Mahrez coming in and possibly Stones but even saying that I think Otamendi played alright.

    Manchester United (H) - Pre-Match Thread

Hoping that we keep the same lineup. Rodri really showed us who he is last night, and it's good to see Angelino playing that well. Dippers have a lot of games this month, but we need to focus on us. 1 game at a time. Come on City.

    Newcastle (a) post-match thread

Title race definitely over. I think at this point we have to just accept that. Time to look at domestic cups and Champions League, take 2nd place and a couple of cups and look to ride off into the summer spending spree.

    Newcastle United (a) pre-match thread

Must say I do have some concern about this match. I imagine we'll have the majority of possession but the threat of the counter is always worrying with the defence we have right now. Would love to see Foden play, and if not then I'd be happy to see Bernardo back at the 8 with Mahrez out wide. I...
