Im not sure why you are singliing out Ederson when there are much much bigger issues and he isnt one to start with?

Mendy - utter shit and overhyped by everyone
Gundogan - wank and consistently so
Mahrez -awful and consistently annonymous
Stones - a shadow of his former self
Jesus - overhyped from day one on here and amongst fans- - little to no goal threat consistently through out games and periods of seasons
Sliva and KDB both below par
Our set pieces (esp corners) are non existent
OUr defending one on one (which is someting that Pep absolutely demands) is gone.
OUr attacking at pace - gone
Our pressing - gone

and then look at the possiblities to replace Ederson - BRavo - i acutally think some fans would be better than him in goal -a calamity waiting to happen when he is on the pitch

I’ve not said anything awful about Ederson who I wouldn’t swap with anyone. Nor am I singling him out. I made a comment I entirely standby.

FYI, you’re not the forum police and others are allowed to make comments about individual players without your fucking approval.

As I predicted a loss on the pre-match thread, I should be reasonably happy with a draw.

However as Newcastle were abysmal I am truly depressed with that result, something is seriously wrong with this group of players this season.

Get Fernandinho back where he belongs, play two central defenders in their proper positions - I don’t care which ones either.

Fern is 34. He'll be 35 at the end of the season. He really doesn't offer enough offensively to make much difference. Foden is the player we have who can add to our midfield creativity. And of course Sane out wide....though he may be off sone enough

PEP It's what we've lived the last four years. We found a way and today, we found it again but unfortunately, at the end, we conceded a goal We could not score all the chances we had; they scored the two chances they had. Sometimes it happens.

We have to accept it, work on strengths and learn from it. It’s tough but we have just two days to recover. In good moments, be calm. In bad moments, live these kind of moments.

Title race definitely over. I think at this point we have to just accept that. Time to look at domestic cups and Champions League, take 2nd place and a couple of cups and look to ride off into the summer spending spree.

There was a time not too long ago we would stream forward and rip teams apart with our attack. I know we have older players but it seems we've done a 180. We wait till 11 players are in the box before we have a go at goal. Be interesting to see how many back and side passes we made compared to forward passes.

No team rips apart a side that sticks every man behind the ball. What you do is score first and then force them out. We scored first, and then conceded straight away cos our defence is weak.
