how do you get over a long term relationship?

Hard to add anything really apart from this song. I find it uplifting, and it helped me through a split once, many years back. It might not be your type of music, but.... They are a fucking cool band... i have about 7 or 8 of their albums. They are The Descendents. Sorry.... i'm...

    Squeeze

Firstly Squeeze were ace. Secondly, i'd have to say '77 - '83 was a huge part of my growing up too musically. I got into everything from punk to the mod revival, to ska, the start of hip hop, the start of The Smiths etc.... so so much good music, that i still listen to now.... in fact i don't...

    marbella

Me and my mate got conned by a German drug dealer, and a couple of his mates in Marbella about 15 years ago. To cut a long story short, he owed us some money... we asked for it back politely... he said later... we kept asking politely... he said later... we tried to put pressure on him by...

Don't much care for AIC, but Soundgarden's Superunknown was a decent album. I loved Black Hole Sun, and still do.... and that made me go and buy the album. It reminds me of living in the south of France in '94.... happy days! I couldn't believe how different that track is to the rest of...

I was right into Pearl Jam too at the time, and i think all the hype Nirvana got kinda put me off them a bit. In fact i didn't listen to their stuff for ages. I was lucky enough to see Pearl Jam in the early nineties, but never got to see Nirvana. Never Mind.

Funny you should mention them. I was listening to Never Mind today..... not heard it in yonks. It's still a classic.... and In Utero is even better.

    The Blur Song from Trainspotting

Blur were very hit and miss with me too. Never a huge fan, but got dragged along to see 'em in Bournemouth one night, and they blew me away. Didn't play any crap... just their good stuff.... and they punked it right up. Never really got into Leisure, but loved Modern Life Is Rubbish, and...

Stone Roses - Ten Storey Love Song

The Stone Roses were a great band. However, i have to agree, Ten Storey Love Song is fucking gash. It's what the skip button was invented for.
