    #17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2021/22 Performances

I'm sure as long as there are people critical of him - and especially, him - no one here will lose fact of his losing possession. Don't think most mind, as everyone loses possession once in a while, Cancelo, for one, or Mahrez, both more than De Bruyne. Sterling, too. Or Rodri, first half, oh...

He's done for, and should've never started. Gundogan in for him next time. It's a much better team without him.

I was sure before the Italy game, that the injury couldn't have been too serious, because I thought City would've been told about it and they wouldn't have wanted him to play. Maybe vetoed it. It's later that we were told that he had actually torn his ligaments in the game prior. I'm soo...

"Kevin De Bruyne has not yet let his star sparkle as we are used to from him this season. What is the reason for that? "I haven't had any rest, both mentally and physically after the European Championship," says the Red Devil. At the Red Devils they are counting on Kevin De Bruyne for assists...

“I have had a tough period with my injury, so I’m coming back little by little to my game," he said. "I’m happy for being able to play three games in a row. It’s very important for me.” - KDB It's clear from what you say, that you wouldn't give him that opportunity. I'm glad you're not Pep.

Wholly intended. You'd remove him from the starting line up when Gundogan is back. Which is hugely disrespectful to KDB.

He often plays high risk passes, that's who he is. Soo much safer to play sideways. He was involved in the two City goals. When Gundogan is back, he can find his rhythm and fitness on the bench, then? Another said he looks like he's gone? Maybe Brentford would take him, if he's lucky and...

No. He is getting there. Needs games to get back into his rhythm - listen to Pep. Or remember his past injuries, and how long it took him - each time - to get back to his best.

Helped by Gundogan hitting a purple patch and scoring with every shot on goal. Purple patches end, and by around end of March, his did.

And i would think, City was involved in the decision to allow him to play. Perhaps not the final word, but if they'd expressed their veto, I doubt he would have played.

It's ridiculous to claim, without knowledge, that Kevin was risking (very) long term injury. Don't do this. You're judging something you know not enough about.

Martinez said the bones weren't displaced and he doesn't need surgery.

Rudiger in the best of times, is a dirty player, and with that mask on, he used it as an extra weapon. Bet Kevin bumped into that plastic. City should go after this guy, file a complaint to UEFA. They won't do it, but they should. This was deliberate.

Can't recommend this enough. Pep failed to use him in his best position; instead, took the sting out of his play. Tuchel loved it.

If Foden would have scored, he'd have the assist.

And how many BIG chances did he create and were missed by Mahrez, Sterling and Gab? That's Kev's fault? Yea, mental.

It was a stupid side to put out. Apart from Diaz and Kev, all the other players on the field had a mediocre season at best. If you're handing the game to Chelsea, don't play Kev and Diaz, either. And Rodri.

    #17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2020/21 Performances

A lot of people think that a player gets a "rest" when they're injured, while that is far from true. Healing from an injury involves an adapted exercise regime and when a player has healed, he's far from match fit either. Takes a lot of time and effort to get up to speed. And even then they lack...

Needs to find his rhythm. And sign his new contract yesterday for some of the extra criticism of him, to stop.
