He's a regular on the 93:20 podcast and occasionally does season previews/ reviews for the Observer He always speaks well on the podcasts. Looks a bit younger than he sounds.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

If someone does decide to stump up the money , we don't really have a negotiating position. Silva decides he does or doesn't like the other clubs offer. I cannot imagine we are likely to say oh look we will now increase your wages.. My main thought is that I hope we have put in the clause that...

    Jo arrested

Oh how the World cup of 82 is forgotten! Brazil had 10 players with the touch of an Angel accompanied by Serginho at centre forward with the touch of an elephant.

    High Blood Pressure

Statins reduce your risk of a heart attack whether or not your cholesterol is high. They are no longer just recommended for people with high cholesterol but for all people with a higher risk of heart attack...

    Ian Wright

Didn't watch MOTD but Wright has always seemed a decent bloke. Think he has improved since his first appearances as a pundit when he was used as a clown a bit like Micah is at the moment.

Wolves (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Just got back from the match. Haven't seen the Arsenal penalty. But I must admit I thought we were a wee bit lucky to get the Gvardiol one. Don't think it made any difference to the outcome though.

I agree , pick the ones where it's likely to make a difference. I'm an old bugger though and mouth to mouth was part of what we were taught. I would for example always use it in a child.

I am or was (I've retired) a professional and have probably attended literally hundreds of cardiac arrests. Professionals don't usually need to give mouth to mouth as they have appropriate equipment. Without equipment ( which has only happened to me a few times) I would usually give mouth to...

Its your choice whether or not to give rescue breaths but the blood becomes de-oxygenated quite quickly if you don't. Last time I gave cpr was on a mountain side with my daughter giving the compressions and myself doing the breaths. Chap made it into hospital but sadly died a few days later.

Is our 1st team squad too small?

He's punning on the word small. It's a joke.

    Bruno Guimaraes

    I'd imagine so.

deBruyne had 2 assists and a great shot but generally looked a little subpar. Nathan outstanding at the back gets my vote.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

He's thirty with one good season, just because he's better than Phillips doesn't make him a City player. Undoubtedly talented but Id question his application if he's only just stepped up now.

I agree that there is no chance of a player being bought who Pep has said no to. But some are bought where Pep is not the prime instigator or is pressing for. He said himself that Doku was mainly bought by Txiki and he did not have much knowledge himself.

Wasn't a foul but it wasn't a dive either he slipped on the wet turf. To be honest it's very difficult to see those clearly in most grounds.

Thought Ake,Alvarez and Walker all very good but for me it had to be Phil.

Last manager who City fans really wanted sacked

Hughes was basically probably a decent mid table manager. He bought in amongst others. Barry, Kompany, Zab, DeJong, Lescott and a fair bit of dross his dealings were far from perfect. At times we played some decent football particularly when Ireland was on his game and we had some good matches...

Last manager who City fans really wanted sacked

Last manager who I personally wanted sacked was Pearce. Didn't object to Hughes's sacking, but I wasn't particularly seeking it.

    Chelsea (N) | FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

I'm not disagreeing with the emphasis and thoughts of your post. I like Jack. But in the interests of accuracy I think he did at least in part put the price tag on himself. It was pretty clear at the time that we bought him on a buy out clause which would have been agreed with Grealish and his...

Most of our rivals are in Europe in one way or another so that does affect them as much as us to be fair. The recovery won't always be the same as it does matter when the home fixture is and what the precise gap is but that is not known when they decide the seasons fixtures.
