Have you? Also have you not read the updated statement by the 1894 group? If you want to go, that's your choice, however if we don't start taking collective stands against such decisions then choice will fast become a thing of the past!

    Community Shield - Arsenal (N) | Sun 6th Aug - 16:00

I think the club will be trying to decide how many blocks to commit to, bearing in mind the majority of blues that have been asked, have said "poke it!". Even the United Charity Shield game in 2011 had a 5th tier block unsold, and that was when Wembley was a novelty. Every Wembley shield game...

    21 | Sergio Gomez - 2023/24

Agree, and isn't it strange how we criticise too much football, but in both Palmer and Gomez's situation, this tournament may just be the key to unlocking their confidence and provide a launchpad for next season.

I really hope any City fan gives serious consideration before attending this game. Nobody is asking anyone not to see the game as it's live on TV. You'll also save yourself a vast amount of cash and time, not to mention the positive environmental impact of not travelling. More importantly...

    Rodolfo Borrell leaving City

We wouldn't even give Gundogan a 2 year deal. Bearing in mind we have lost Pep's 2 main coaches and Pep himself leaves in 2 years, with hindsight could you not agree that keeping Gundogan at the club would not have only served to provide short term playing and coaching cover, but also...

    Rodolfo Borrell leaving City

We really should have kept Gundogan with a part play, part coach long term contract.

So I'm a 'Knobhead' and a 'C**t', for supporting a planned boycott, and asking those who are not convinced to think again? Well I tell you what Mr Swales, I'd rather be that than a soft arse like you, who clearly thinks that the FA's complete disregard for the scheduling of this fixture is OK...

If you are not supporting this boycott then why are you even on this thread? It's clearly titled as 'Fans Plan to Boycott'. Does that not give you an idea of what the sentiment is within the fanbase? You will also find I didn't start the thread, but am merely supportive of its message, just...

You'll need to get your seating sorted well in advance, as finding 4 seats together could be a challenge.

    Community Shield - Arsenal (N) | Sun 6th Aug - 16:00

Of course we had power. We were their only income. For this Community Shield however, the fans are just a backdrop. First and foremost in the FA's primary, if not only, considerations is how much TV revenue we can make. Luckily for this game it won't be much so the sudden thought of 30,000 seats...

    Community Shield - Arsenal (N) | Sun 6th Aug - 16:00

The latest 1894 tweet confirms this boycott is still on and clearly embarrasses the FA, who admitted the first KO time was made without ANY consideration for supporters! Saturday 3pm, that needs to be the target.

    Community Shield - Arsenal (N) | Sun 6th Aug - 16:00

Yes, but we were the only income, and our financial support was life sustaining, and as such we were empowered. Admittedly there wasn't many decisions to be made, but in those days, games were played on Saturdays at 3pm, because if not, fans probably would not have been there.
