2022 Rugby League World Cup Final(s)

I’m not sure criticism of the ticket prices is entirely fair. I took one of my boys to the opening game against Samoa in Newcastle and paid £30 for the two of us. That was in the corner of the Gallowgate with a pretty good view. Then took wife and all four kids to Scotland - Fiji in...

What famous fans do we have?

Andy Dalton, currently QB for New Orleans Saints (tho he’s most closely associated with Cincinnati) turned up at the NFL London game at Spurs wearing a City hat. I think Aaron Rodgers is a blue too, but he’s a bit tinfoil hat on the side

    Next Rail Strikes Announced.

Fair play for persevering with the trains, I gave up on them 20 years ago from Edinburgh. Every now and then we’d give it a go and end up cancelled, delayed or it was so rammed my kids would be lying on luggage racks forlornly looking at our reserved seats in the distance. I just drive every...

    Seat Counters - 2022/23

This is true, City deliberately take tickets off sale so weirdos on the internet can’t screech about games not being sold out. And we’re all complicit.

    Liz Truss

I wonder if they’ll keep her in until 31 October when the spending cuts are announced - then let her take the abuse for that before getting punted.

How many times you been Anfield and not seen us win?

I was there for the Alan Ball league cup game. A really dull 1-0 I think under Keegan. A midweek defeat under Pearce but can’t remember the score And the game when it had come out Sven might be getting sacked…we don’t need no Phil Scolari

    Holidays

Booked a few days in Hammerfest in March, lifelong ambition. Few days either side in Tromso. Was hoping to make it January or February but work wasn’t going to let that happen. Still hoping to get to Archangel one day, but might be while on that…

https://www.football365.com/news/man-city-and-haaland-have-reduced-our-league-to-record-smashing-numberwang-boring-we-love-it This is mostly quite nice, I don’t have a problem with them picking up on Alfie’s comments either really, he did say them.

    The Conservative Party

It’s only goods, that are proven be taken and then used/consumed outside the U.K. - that’s all part of the checks. The checks the U.K. does already are pretty strong, there’s really nothing to see here. It’s the same way there’s no VAT on exported goods - all a tourist is doing is arranging...

To translate “There was no noise reported in any outlets and the BBC 6 posts down on this very webpage says it was observed “impeccably”. However I might have heard something, not sure from where, but I’m going to say it came from the City end, because, why not?”

Memories of your first time watching City

Not sure if I’m unusual but I’ve absolutely no recollection at all of my first game. I’ll have gone with my dad and brother, but none of us know which game or anything about it. I was 5 when I got my first season ticket in 1983, so it’ll be before then - but beyond that, nothing.

Tenuous connections to Manchester City players old and new.

Gary Mason used to jog past my front door in Leith every morning. He might still do, we’ve moved.
