    82 | Rico Lewis - 2024/25

There were a lot of other issues apart from Lewis in that goal. The fact the press was broken so easily allowing the ball to get to the winger. Gvardiol ball watching/getting caught under the ball, then not closing down the winger to allow him to put a cross in under no pressure, both Centre...

King Ralph, has absolutely no redeeming features whatsoever, truly awful.

    The Conservative Party

Not usually one for violence, but if the IRA decided to reform and bomb that particular part of the conference, the world would be a better place

VAR Discussion Thread - 2023/24 | PL clubs to vote on whether to scrap VAR (pg413)

Because the last time they trialled it they had to stop it after 1 game due to a coked up (probably) Tony Adams continuously swearing his head off

    The Conservative Party

Fucking hell, it's a joke every Chancellor leaves when they leave office, to use that as a stick to beat anyone with is stupid.

    Holy Island

Yep, stupid pricks. At this time of year you usually have from 2 in the morning until midday then you can cross back between 5 and 11pm, there's no need to risk it. Signs everywhere with times as well. Should just leave them, natural selection in action.

How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

And that is why the BBC are getting rid of that programme. How dare you go against what the government say.

Anyone met a famous celebrity and worth a post?

Oddly bumped into him in Newcastle today (not in that way) which reminded me of this story. He really has been a shit manager looking at his record.

Anyone met a famous celebrity and worth a post?

Met Lee Clark when he was "dating" my babysitter. Ended up being "intimate" on the settee with her when my sister and I had gone to bed (condom hadn't flushed, which was a clue) and broke our fireplace while having a kick around in the house. Seemed nice enough.

    elderly drivers

The organisation I am part of deals with this. I would be very careful about stopping older drivers full stop as some that we see that have been referred to us by various health professionals are still safe to drive, and retain the learned skills and still have the mental capacity to still...

    Ref Watch

Was at a non-league game last night and one of the players was sin-binned for repeatedly swearing at the referee. Didn't realise that was a thing. https://www.englandfootball.com/explore/inclusive-football/Respect/sin-bins Should it be something brought into the professional game?

    Excel help

It will have to be formatted as text, rather than number or value, or it will remove the first 0, don't know if you have to set that in Access or the Excel sheet it exports into.

Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

They are going to need to build more stairs for criminals to "fall down", none of this wheelchair friendly rubbish, how are they going to hurt themselves on ramps?

Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

Of course it's all the "woke" stuff that is the reason the police are not investigating crimes, not the decimation of the police force by chronic underfunding over the past 12 years, can't be that surely

    Public sector pay rise

The fault of New Labour. PFI etc is destroying the NHS. We wanted a simple wood fence put up. It was made with what looked like broken up pallets and not treated for weather and they were charging hundreds. Could have probably done it myself for about £50.
